Lukaku or Dybala will be better than we currently have, so I’m glad if just one of them come. But of course both have their flaws and are pretty expensive, but we need new blood at attack.

But I’m starting to lean on more to Lukaku. With Lukaku and Lautaro we know they have good chemistry. Lukaku should be extra hungry and motivated! Lukaku also don’t have big injuries in the past and he should still be able to play big minutes, so that mean less time for Dzeko or Correa and that is good. He can also offer some counter attack ability with his speed and oh boy have we missed that badly! Dybala can’t offer that.

Yes he will miss some easy changes and sometimes have bad tuch, but also next minute he can change a game out of nowhere. He is also pretty good at positioning and can give us a hand in set pieces with his height. Also opposition usually need 2-3 guys to mark him so he will make other players more room to score too?

But it’s interesting to see how he will fit in to Inzaghi system as we do keep more posession and don’t sit so deep like with Conte? But I think he will do fine with Inzaghi system?

I did not like how he forced the move last summer after those ”I am staying” comments… but I also didn’t like Dybala crying for leaving Juve and it’s worse than leaving and wanting to come back

Lukaku is one of the most mentaly fragile player what I have ever witnessed. He need to be centre of attention and I think Simone is good coach for him! Hope he will take care of his body and be at his best physical condition without that he is pretty useless.

My biggest concerns is that next summer we need to sell one of Barella or Bastoni so we can keep him? He will be 30 years old and Chelsea will most certainly demand +€60m for him after loan?

What’s his salary at Inter now? I read that he takes as much as 40% at Chelsea.

I was spot on with the Dzeko prediction, so here i go again (only in serie a): 17-23 goals, 6-10 assists & a presence that will win us couple of games.

IF, this does not endanger us signing Dybala, it's wonderful piece of business, honestly.

Do you think he will want to go back to Chelsea if Tuchel is there? most likely he will keep wringing Chelsea's hands and say he only wants to play for Inter

It's ok when we sign players that will never play (the striker that Inzaghi wanted), and use the "it's ok the coach wants him, it's just one season, nothing bad can come out of it", but for a guaranteed starter, someone who will force other teams to change formations because of him, someone who will be a protagonist - 6/7/8/9m is a lot and unfathomable.


I mean...

It is now my headcanon to believe we sent Lukaku to Chelsea as a double agent with this long term game in mind. Marotta masterclass.

Yeesh let’s take it one season at a time. He could be an absolute bust. Sequels are rarely as good as the originals.

At least he put his money where his mouth is by taking a paycut.

Buy Lukaku for 65M€ + 10M€bonuses

Sell him for 115M€ 2 years later with huge profits.

Loan him the next year for 8M€ (+4M€ bonuses if a big title is won)

Loan him the summer after with option to buy. Say no to a transfer.
