from FedeNerazzura's twitter:

CdS - They did not buy Milan but they could try again to by Steven Zhang's Inter. The Nerazzurri are a target of financial groups and among these are two: Investcorp, a Bahrain company, and Ares Capital, an American holding.

Inter CEO Antonello was in New York last May for a series of event and there was talk about the future of the club. He was accompanied by Director of Revenues Danovaro, Director of Global Marketing and Partnership Biggi and a Goldman Sachs representative.

When asked about Inter, Investcorp Director of Communication, Firas El Amine, replied with "no comment from us, no comment to confirm or deny this rumor." The spokesperson for Inter also did not respond to a written request for a comment. There is also silence from Ares Capital.

Investcorp, even if it were interested in buying Inter, would not want to expose itself so as not to risk being left empty-handed twice (they failed to buy Milan). Same goes for Ares.

Investcorp made a €1B+ offer to buy Milan. If they made that kind of money available, they will not give up on buying a football club. They have offices in New York and have $40B in assets with plan to grow to $100B to challenge the Arab cousins of PSG, Man City and Newcastle.

For both Investcorp and Ares, Serie A remains a target for economic and political reason. They want to develop relations in Europe, offering a better image. Sheikh Mansour just bought Palermo and Inter-Milan Super Cup will be in Saudi Arabia.

Same goes for the American. The current US Administration grants huge tax reliefs to those who invest in Europe, to counteract China. Inter, for their history and development possibilities such as new stadium, represent a great opportunity.

According to Biasin and fcinter1908, we have to make 60m net profit by 30th August 2023.

That changes things. Probably. I don't know.

So in other words, Skriniar goes this summer and we sell Lautaro or Barella next summer

If that’s true then selling someone like Correa might be more appealing because you wouldn’t be as concerned with their price on the books?

I must of missed the update.

I thought Milano was bought by some Bahrain fund, but now that sale didnt go through and their interested in Inter? In anycase, we need a sugar daddy to officially turn this around. New Stadium, consistent sponsors and hope works with the wider Serie A teams to get more exposure.

let's not speak too soon about who bought who

really don't want Milan to become Manchester City for the next 20 years
