Forum Supporter10 years of FIFWe could have sold De Vrij last summer for double that. Now he’s coming off a mediocre season, he’s one year older and he’s out of contract next summer. There doesn’t seem to be much interest in him at this point in time. I personally think he’d get burned in the EPL too.

Genuinely offensive PSG are offering 65 million max for the second best defender in world football when they just gave 50 for a player many didn't know about until this year. I've been adamant about just selling him and getting Bremer in to avoid disaster but honestly fuck them. I hope we don't sell to then again.

Forum SupporterAll of Inter's negotiations are hampered because they announced loudly that we have to sell and make X amount by a given time frame. This "transparency " is bogus too; first it's 100M then its 60M, then its profit then it's not. Has to be in 2022 now it's 2023. All the transfer talks and financial strategies are disingenuous. Next window, just shut up and do what needs to be done and explain later.

Bastoni has some unique characteristics that should make him one of the best in the world as he gets more experience but fuck me if it’s not gonna hurt to lose Skriniar. He’s much more physical than our young Italian and he’s really grown as a leader for the club the last few seasons. He’d be my automatic first choice capitano if he were to stay but alas…

But indeed purely in on-pitch terms, indeed it makes more sense to let go off Skriniar than Bastoni. Player like Bremer can somewhat replace Skriniar's on-pitch role.
