Paulo Dybala

Imagine you`re in Ausilio/Marotta`s shoes, would you offer Dybala a contract?

  • Yes - unlock defences and add value: creativity, individual brilliance, attacking outside the box

  • No - serious doubts about his fitness and contribution when it matters the most

And now he wants Dzeko and Correa to stay. Gonna lose friggin Dybala cause that. Idiots.
It’s not that black and white. Offourse signing Correa was a mistake. You can’t wish al signings are a succes. Sadly this one we could see coming and was a expensive one.

If truly it's because of signing lukaku that we are moving out of race for dybala then marotta and ausilio must be retarded. I mean the calculations are too simple to make such a stupid choice. Dybala is younger, arguably the better player on lower wages(6m), and we are getting him for free. Meanwhile lukaku is coming from a shit season, no guarantees he is rediscovering his form especially he is playing in an unfamiliar system(inzaghi's) that barely matches his style of play. Also he is on higher wages(8m), and we had to pay to sign him on loan, and will still pay some 20-30 ish fee to sign him permanently. And he is older(29).

c'mon man, they are the same age, five months diference is not a big deal,
yes if Dybala dont get injured he could be more marketable than Lukaku, who is on loan and I dont see us paying something like 70-80 mil again for him, and if Dybala gets on track he could be next one to sacrifice next season or two

Based on what? Pure speculation? This is what pedulla said:

He noted that “Dzeko has already been close to Juve in the past, Inter told them to talk to the player and he said no to them.”

If he really goes to Napoli or (worse) Milan, it's incredible. We are doing to many gifts in the recent time to our rivals. And im not only talking about the scudetto but of course Tonali. A player that we really needed as vice Brozo, who were one of the best players from Milan last season. I feel like we are always doing something wrong even now with Marotta. We could have got a good keeper, this year or already last year. Imagine Maignan at Inter last season. Instead we don't really made much to get a new keeper and at the end Onana for free came, a big risk probably considering how many games he played in this last seasons. Milan and Juve are ridiciolous. If Milan won the scudetto it's also thanks to us. And this year we are risking to make look Juve, with their phatetic "management" (Arrivabene and Nedved) a winning team.
With Dybala, Bremer, and maybe even Skriniar staying, there is no chance for other teams honestly. But this is Inter, let's not improve our team..

Yep. Its funny that people(especially our coach and managment LOL) think that with Lukaku we solved our problems in attack. They easy forgot that we lost Perisic who can score, assist, create chances. Lukaku is upgrade over Dzeko, but we are not stronger in attack department cause we lost Perisic. We need Dybala from exact reason you wrote in your post,Sanchez and Dzeko are finished and Correa is (so far) just not good enough.
we need both (lukaku and dybala) and i already said it months ago. At the end we got Lukaku instead of Dybala. I can understand the logic because Inzaghi would like to have a real number 9 with Lautaro, we also know already how good they work together. Problem is, as you said, Dzeko and Correa are not good enough. Unless a miracle happends and Correa became Messi next season, we will have a problem once Lautaro or Lukaku needs to rest or gets injured.

On the dzeko argument no one can say the expected more from him... He gave us everything and some inzaghi just wouldn't bench him, with that being said he is on a high wage to sit on our bench you can't compare the quality dzeko has vs the quality dybala has if we could get rid of dzeko for dybala (plus Sanchez) it's a no brainer.

How it looks can change in a day. Go full panic mode the last week if you don't like the squad, until then take it in stride. I am content with the team being about on same level compared to last season except that Asllani looks like an option for multiple midfield places from the bench, which is a surprise. Or maybe we are overhyping him?

Anyway, as of now, if the quality of the squad doesn't drop, that is enough for me this season. While I don't like Lukaku coming back because next summer it's gonna be hell getting him and/or replacing him and getting Mhki, most of the moves I'm cool with and are understandable to me

I predicted he would decide in this 2 weeks but if he's inteligent he will wait for a good offer instead of going to a club like Napoli.

It's not done but let's be honest. It doesn't look good right now.
I don't think the media dance matters that much.

What doesn't look good is our management. Saying the team will be set by July and barely announcing a couple of roster fillers isn't great when we all know our top 2 priorities are Dybala and Bremer, which we made clear in public since months.

It's hard to believe Dybala is considered a priority at this point. Especially with Lukaku signed, sealed, and delivered in June.

In the past two Serie A seasons, Lukaku has more goals than Dybala, despite only being in the league for one of those seasons.

I get it, Dybala is more creative and has some magic to him. Dybala is more likely to perform in big matches. But when I look at what went wrong last year, we had a good two months - against small clubs - where we couldn't put the ball in the back of the net. That won't happen with Lukaku here.

The financial component is a whole different story.
