Paulo Dybala

Imagine you`re in Ausilio/Marotta`s shoes, would you offer Dybala a contract?

  • Yes - unlock defences and add value: creativity, individual brilliance, attacking outside the box

  • No - serious doubts about his fitness and contribution when it matters the most

In the past two Serie A seasons, Lukaku has more goals than Dybala, despite only being in the league for one of those seasons.

I get it, Dybala is more creative and has some magic to him. Dybala is more likely to perform in big matches. But when I look at what went wrong last year, we had a good two months - against small clubs - where we couldn't put the ball in the back of the net. That won't happen with Lukaku here.

The financial component is a whole different story.
No one would have swapped the Inter Lukaku for Dybala tbf. Expect for Juve fans.
Not sure why people have short memory on here.

That said, I would still like to see them both in here

Dzeko to me is not a player I want coming off the bench. He slows everything down and basically neutralizing any counter attack opportunity. Correa at least has the physical ability and traits to keep defenses thinking. Dzeko is so damn easy to defend against because he can hardly move and his hold up play blows now compared to even a year or two ago at Roma.

this i agree with big time, he really affects our ability for a quick build up.... Like I said previously he is way past his peak! He did phenomenal last season since he started every match humanly possible

We got him way past his prime. Prime Dzeko was Van Basten compared to prime Lukaku.

If he voluntarily chooses one of Roma or Napoli, then i really believe we are better without him. That's just shows the loser mentality he has.

He hasn't chosen Roma or Napoli. He has made his choice long ago and it's Inter. But he can’t wait for ever. It's July 15th. He needs to find a team soon.

Exactly. Dybala is waiting for Marotta to call him. Marotta will tell come over here or he tells we just can't sign you.

Di Marzio doesn't know what he's talking about. It's clear as blue sky Dybala is waiting for Inter. Otherwise he would have signed already with someone else.

Pedulla reiterates his position: He doesn't know any offers from Napoli or Roma.

I happen to believe Pedulla 100% on this one. These clubs might have shown interest in Dybala, but Dybala is waiting, he's not interested in these clubs at this moment.

There has been contact between #Inter and Dybala’s entourage after a ‘stalemate’ period. He is eager to join #Inter but is disappointed at the current stage of the deal- Dybala is in a hurry to find his new club.

[via @Gazzetta_it]
Paulo Dybala still considers #Inter his priority as a team to join for his career and ambitions.

An ‘imaginary deadline’ has been set by Paulo Dybala to join #Inter. The player wants to close a deal for his new club by the end of next week. From that moment on, Napoli and Roma could become serious options for the forward.

"I received 5 thousand messages on Dybala from Rome, Naples, agreements made: I have no news of signatures or offers presented. As of today, July 15 at 11.20 pm I have no news of agreements. I remain of my idea, he is waiting for some releases and we will see next week, when we get to the heart. Without Lukaku's arrival, Dybala would have been at Pinetina for 20 days. Inter are making some exits, he is waiting and maybe he will be free to consider other paths. For now, however, he is still and knows that Inter is interested. The Nerazzurri are negotiating Gagliardini with Monza, he is forcing it for Sanchez. Knowing Marotta, Dybala is an unrepeatable opportunity for him and it shows that as of July 15th he is still standing. Also because yes, Inter would have 5 strikers, but Dzeko expires and in March he will be 37, Correa is in doubt, Lukaku is on loan and we need to deal with Chelsea. At the moment the only certainty for the future is Lautaro. That's why Dybala is a great deal".

For whatever reason I've read the first 40 pages of this thread, up until he signed for Rube. A lot of great comments. A lot of people dismissed him as well at the time we actually had a chance to get him, back in 2012.

What was bugging me these past few months is whether his move to Rube was a mistake, but reading all those comment if he chose 2015 Rube for 2022 Inter I would say he had made a mistake, especially considering how his stint at Rube ended. But, there was really no other option at the time. Inter were laughable in comparison.

The man is waiting and training. When will Beppe call?? Next step, he'll have an Inter tattoo to show for his 48M followers.
