Moggi had a great track record, too.

Care to check how many of those Marotta titles were legitimate without any clouds above them?
So your argument is that Marotta manage his teams like Moggi? Is that your reason to hate/dismiss Marotta or his achievements?

Don’t you think we currently have better team than before Marotta came here? Or do you think we had better atmosphere, culture, mood in team/club before Marotta?

I'm sure he knows how much better the mood is now. But now the conversation will be reset with mentions how the mood will be destroyed by stupid wages and contract games, all Marotta's fault.

But yes I’m not saying it’s impossible that Marotta have his hands in some dirt? It’s possible, but currently there is less evidence of that than for Facchetti ”lobbying referees” back in the day? Moggi even won that legal battle in court against him. But Italy is corrupt country and those roots goes deep, so you never know?

But at his time here in Inter I havent notice of us getting free penalties or weird decisions, but maybe I’m biased in that way? I’m also not aware of Marotta dealings in Venezia, Atalanta or Sampdoria?

People here defend banter era for us not having any money, but if you look our wage budget we had almost over double the budget to likes of Roma, Lazio, Napoli, Udinese, Fiorentina, Atalanta who got in the CL year after year over us and we were so fucking poorly run club that time. With Marotta we have taken the right steps to be a big club again and we have a good team and good mood in the club and for that I give a credit to our professional managment.

I link this article for about that Facchetti and it’s a shame if it’s true?

No, I'm saying you're praising someone for being successful in a fraudulent environment. 20 years ago you'd be doing the same for Moggi.

I wouldn't even bother to click it, seeing the article posted on a free Wordpress domain alone is already untrustworthy.

Still don’t understand why this debate is still black and whiteing all the time. Why can we give props to either Marotta or Ausilio+Baccin (who sadly is forgotten very often) and not give props to both sides? As I said Ausilio and Baccin are certainly doing great, because they are provided a clear path and strategy and know the way to go by their supervising manager which is Marotta, who - in turn - seems to be doing a great job, because almost everyone performs to their highest, the team chemistry is on a high (see Lukaku, Hakimi, enough other players who just don’t want to leave Inter) and the recognition for the club has grown back to where it belongs.

Ausilio and Baccin proved three/four seasons long, that they were not the bad apples, instead they were not given a clear task. This is a very common thing for employers to strive when given a clear task, responsibility and the right environment, and say what you will, but a million of combinations didn’t allow us to have that before the likes of Marotta and Conte entered and gave the club a clear identity.

Exactly. The whole battle is fucking ridiculous but it has all started because the forum has a circle-jerk for anything Marotta does and keeps complaining whatever Ausilio does or does not or what he has or hasn't done before.

They work very well as a tandem, or well a trio as Baccin needs to be mentioned, as Marotta always does.

Ausilio and Baccin are professionals and are doing damn good job as I see it, but I think Marotta gets most of the gredit cause he is the CEO of the club and make all the final decisions?

Usually it goes that way in most of the clubs? Like in ManU Woodward got the heat/shit for ManU underperforming despite splashing cash over a billion. I think it’s fair! Nobody is talking about their ”Ausilio”, but Woodward and the owners… as they make the final decisions.

Also it’s not clear what Ausilio role was at banter era and it seems he did not have a say most of the trasfers or did he? I don’t fucking know

But that I know he was here at the time and we sucked badly even thou we had one of the biggest budget and salaries for last decade. I don’t know why he should get the praise?

I read that Asllani was one of his finds and I will give him credit from that 👏

But I was just wondering why people here can’t give Marotta any credit of his work and our current state of the club? You will get immediately attacked and get some name calling like ”Marotta buttlicker” or like you put it ”circle-jerk for anything Marotta does”, I was just wondering where all this hate is coming from and I try to ask questions and get some kind of understanding why people here feel that way?

I’m just enjoying our recent succes as a fan, but some reason in this forums it’s not accepted?

Still we kinda splashed money for Asllani, for somebody who was Empolis primavera player a year ago and didn't even play that much Serie A football, 10+ mil seems a bit excessive.

Let's hope he turns out great.

At this moment, nothing points he doesn't turn to at least an Inter squad level player in the near future.

I'm gonna go all in with the Asllani train.

It hurts the narrative that everything good is from Marotta and everything bad is from Ausilio

We lost both players in the end, thats only what matters. We paid fkn 30 mil for Correa and cant afford fkn 6m per year for fkn Dybala. They are all bunch of idiots, from coach to management.

We have chosen Lukaku over Dybala, and i'm pretty much ok with that. If Marotta doesn't miss out Bremer, the mercato will be very good one.

This mercato is shit. When we sell Skriniar you'll realize that, especially when you see rube roster at the start of the season. We are done. Stupid and predictable attacking football with Lukaku thats what you will get.
