I don't even know if it's smart to form any judgments yet, we played a friendly one or two days ago like idiots and now when you are playing in front of your fans it's obvious the level of freshness isn't the same. A similar thing happened in the game's against lens, I think. I know players only played halves, but still.
But so far in preseason it's clear we are missing speed (the kind that's not related to the level of fitness) and perisic. That dude was two players for us, our midfield also suffers without him.

Most Humorous MemberI keep saying it - replacing him was not a luxury or of secondary importance. Replacing him was literally priority number 1 for me and we fucking screwed it royally with the Bremer fiasco (gifting our hated rivals the defender of the season in the process).
de Vrij is going to be a calamity and a liability this season. The kind who is single handedly responsible for conceding goals and losses. I guarantee it.
