I think we are seeing the real Grealish, he’s had more than enough time to settle in. He’s just not quality enough to be a consistent starter for City let alone be worth 100 million anything.
While I agree that he isn't worth 100 million, for that money you have to impact the team from game 1, playing him as a false 9 and as a LW is not the right way to go.

Poor Lampard, Everton is in such disarray, they could go down this season.

Love how Aston Villa plays, love to see Coutinho enjoying football

Ten Hag thinks he's still in Eredivisie. Playing Fred as a lone DM with Eriksen and Bruno next to him is suicide.

Also this can't be a coincidence. Ajax had 3 coaches in the last 12 years. De Boer, Bosz, Ten Hag. The moment they leave Ajax they get tactically exposed.

I don't have anything against ManU in particular, but it's always fun to see that others are going through worse than us, despite spending infinitely more. Seems like anything they touch turns into shit.

Eriksen with huge mistake for the second goal, although that pass to him was poor.

Partly agree and partly disagree.

In the beginning at Ajax the results were not great either. (Actually, at all his clubs it didn't go well in the beginning). Lots of long training sessions and tactical discussions. A lot of dissatisfaction with the players about the way of training. Tadic approached him as captain to show his dissatisfaction and then he adjusted his method.

He is a stubborn coach who firmly believes in his ideas about football. At Ajax, the defenders were often exposed 2 vs 2 with counter attacks. So I expected that they would concede a lot of goals in the beginning. In Holland this isn't a problem because of the opponents level. The tactics he likes just takes a lot of time. Certainly at a higher level like United with better opponents. Ajax has the most ball possession 99% of the matches and is always the better one. Then you can build more calmly than at a club like United.

The problem at United now is mainly the player group and whether he can motivate them in such a way that they start to believe in his ideas. The solution is to give him time, time you don't have at United. Look at all the coaches they've had. There comes a time when you shouldn't look at the coach but at the player material. The group is just poorly composed with a lot of mediocre players. That is the biggest problem in my opinion.
