That assumes it's actually just an option and not an obligation disguised with a gentleman's agreement.
With Chelsea I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t even have an option at all.

so one smile or one game where he was bad makes him bad lol. guy is good better option then borrusia or chelsea rejects

Are you really saying acerbi is better than akanji.....LMAO this is the worst thing we could have done for depth, literally would have preferred we took a punt at an academy player at this point, the move doesn't make sense financially or football terms

When you are an ex milan player and gifts bbilan the winning goal and then smile about it,. Especially when you do it in a tight title race. Yes then one game is enough to declare you persona no grata for Inter.
i do not know the facts of thing that happened but sometimes people smile when they think what kind a blunder they commit. it is like really i just did this stupid me. plus i mean only a fool would want come to inter have chance to get bonus or more money while winning a league and blow it up because he likes milan

I’d be utterly fucking shocked if there isn’t a gentleman’s agreement with Lazio to buy him next summer. When it’s all said and done, this club will have wasted probably over €20m on this guy between the purchase price and his ridiculous salary.

Good times.

Fuck him, washed up shitface.

If DeVrij gets injured/suspended:
a) move Skriniar to middle, play Dambro RCB
b) move Bastoni to middle, play Di Marco LCB

Are you new here? Please, look at our running history of giving multi-year deals to aging, declining players. The issue isn't that Acerbi is horrible RIGHT NOW. The issue is two years from now when we're broke, have sold Skriniar, and don't have the available funds to sign a proper CB because we're paying Acerbi 4M€ net.
There is literally not a single rumor saying we would be signing Acerbi on a multi-year deal.

Refer to previous comment where I hope that this "option" isn't code for "gentlemen's agreement."

Okay, haven't seen any stories of that either.

Let's see how this evolves. Hopefully we've sealed it now but only to try for better options till the end. And we take this only if nothing else comes up.

Though that sounds more like Inzaghi wants his guy immediately.

And yet we are crying / moaning that we do not have any money to spend. Fucking Italian football / managers who rather spend on old "established" guys than use some youth products. We have wasted so much money in this transfer period alone to get rid of those old guys from Chile and now we doing the same mistake all over again.

Just loan this Chalobah guy and leave it like this :palm:

you've never laughed at yourself after a fuck up? Human emotions are too complex for you to just box and predict the outcomes. Athletes are humans too, who knows how you or I would react in a stadium of thousands of italian (thus highly emotional) fans. Anyone can talk shit from the safety of your own home "if that were me..." etc.

It's no surprise to me that a cancer survivor doesn't take sports so seriously and finds humor in shitty situations.

You know a move is shit when crzd prefers keeping Ranocchia.
Would love to know what Ranocchia is better at than Acerbi. At least Acerbi has managed to be a consistent starter for a top 5 serie a team. Ranocchia couldn't even manage that at Sampdoria.

And those of you who say we should give youth a chance, out of the thousands of players who come through our youth system, how many have had a successful career? From bessa, criestig, pasquale, biabiany, krhin (playing in Australia). Our primavera is garbage, is what it is.
