It's quite painful to watch, here in my home town, serie a belong to the oldies, mostly 30 +++, i rarely seen youngsters stay late at night or wake up early to watch serie a, italy has lost its mojo here, way different than in the 90s were the kids at school talk about how awesome batistuta is, they wanna be the next peruzzi or pagliuca, and yes, ronaldo, maradona and so on

My fellow country men can argue but for me personally italy has lost it completely here, to see seria a in decline was painful, back then we could even see kids wearing diego fuser's or angelo di livio's jersey, but today no more

Anyway forza inter !
And yet no change from the league.....

Drastic sweeping changes have to be made

Di Marzio says Juve is also looking at Milik.
Corriere dello Sport: Marseille have agreed to send Milik to Juventus on a €2m loan deal with a €8m buy option attached. The player would earn around €3.5m net per season in Turin.

Milik joined Marseille in January 2021 from Napoli on a €4m loan deal with a €8m buy option attached. He’s scored 30 goals in 55 games for the club.
Probably the best option for the forwards department that merda can afford. He is also skilled at freekicks.

> Lecce: Barcelona have given Samuel Umtiti permission to fly to Italy in order to complete his transfer to Lecce, claim reports, in a deal set to cost the Serie A minnows not a single Euro.
The very idea of the move was a shock when it emerged over the last couple of days, as the World Cup winning defender earns €20m per season in wages. :sneaky:
However, despite needing to cut down their overall wage bill, Barca will cover his entire salary during the loan period and Lecce won’t have to pay anything.

> Tibia fracture of Wijnaldum might push Roma back into the market. Florian Grillitsch, who is a free agent, already tried and failed to negotiate personal terms with Fiorentina, Lecce and Brighton and Hove Albion. It remains to be seen if the former Hoffenheim talent will fit the Roma wage structure.

* EDIT: just wanted to highlight 2 smart transfers that caught my eyes and haven`t been mentioned yet

1. Bartłomiej Drągowski from Fiorentina to Spezia = €2m + €1.75m in add-ons + 50% future resale clause
The add-ons are split up into blocks of €250,000 each, corresponding to the number of appearances made.
FZzsbQzXoAEIhMV

I always rated this keeper and now at 25 I don`t understand how they let him go, especially this cheap. Anyone knows why?

2. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Dinamo Batumi to Napoli = 10M

The Georgian is only 21 years old but started this season strong with 3 goals and 1 assist in just 2 matches!
If you look at him you will understand why this transfer is incredible... He has pace, crazy dribbling skills and he is very quick-thinking.

Fans are already calling him Kvaradona!

Allegri is insane.

@DARi0, at some point Dragowski lost his place to Terracciano of all fkn people and never got it back. His reflexes were great though he was always a bit too error prone. Fiorentina brought in that clown Gollini too so I guess that was the end of that. IMO Dragowski is a very good replacement for Provedel who went to Lazio.

Fuck Terracciano for his blunder against Milan.

I was also shocked to see Dragowski last week. IIRC, he had a howler against us too. But otherwise looked very good when I saw him.

Juve’s midfield still sucks thank god. Pogba might change that when he gets back but for now they’re still having issues which is only beneficial to everyone else.

I've read that Leao refuses 4.5 mln from Milan, as he wants 7 for new contract. Chelsea are interested.

From one perspective, I don't want Milan to get around 60-70 mln for Leao, but from the another, he will be a huge loss for them, as he creates most of their chances.

They can easily get 100M€ for him. Contract until 2024.

But they won't sell him. Leao can outrun almost anybody in Serie A, only Skriniar he can't defeat.

Musa Barrow is unhappy at Bologna due to lack of playing time. He is 24 now and I rate him.

Torino wants him, while Nice and Fulham made requests. Problem is the asking price: 16M. His agent is shocked that Bologna want so much for a sub.

According to Sky, Juve are closing for Milik. Good news imo. I hated the idea of Depay at Juve.

Doesn’t make sense for Chelsea at all, to bench Mount? Or move Mount lower to limit his strength? Leao’s laziness will kill their attack more than Lukaku.

But they’re in panicking buying mode, who knows
