Ha just remembered we bought this guy. Zero minutes thus far.
Seeing the low amount of posts and utter lack of activity in this thread, he didn’t get people excited in pre season unlike Asllani.
If our schedule wasn’t as packed due to the World Cup, we would have (and probably even should have) sent him on loan already. We have 2 players on each flank and he’s the last one in the packing order on both. He ain’t gonna play much this season, that’s clear. If we’re injury free after the World Cup we should let him get some match practice elsewhere.

Forum SupporterNo one here thought Inzaghi viewed Dimarco as a viable LWB option. We were all resigned to the fact that Dimarco was going to be this ball playing CB who struggled defensively. At the time, it seemed like we needed Bellanova.

Best Overall PosterAgreed. At the time Perisic had left and Inzaghi had mostly used Dimarco as a lcb so we badly needed another wingback. That being said, if Inzaghi sees Dimarco as a lwb this season we better loan Bellanova either now or in January and sign a low cost Bastoni backup. We wouldn't do Bellanova any favors by keeping him if Inzaghi sees him as 5th option on the wings.
