So it will probably come between Thuram and Lukaku. Problem is we don't have a fair assessment of what current Lukaku can offer because of his fitness. So any decision would be made on a guess.

Several members of the current squad are on the last year of their contracts. With their salaries off the book opportunities might arise for the new additions. Even if we extend some of them they'll be on lower terms (except Skriniar), so we could still afford players like Thuram.

We can always loan Correa the fuck out if it comes to that. If we sign Thuram, we tell Correa you need to find a new club.

Of course it all comes down to do we need to generate funds. So much variables still.

If we have fund to extend Lukaku's loan it means we have fund to sign another forward. Just kick Lukaku's ass from our door after our season ends and sign Thuram or any forward who scores goal and not constantly injured.

I'm 100% in favor of Thuram, largely due to being sick of the other dickheads we are linked with every year: Dzeko, Zapata, Belotti etc.

As others have mentioned already, other clubs will be working to secure him as well. But the biggest obstacle is indeed Lukaku. IF, God forbid, the rumors are true, and we have committed to a second loan for Lukaku next season, then we can kiss Thuram (or any other half-decent forward) goodbye. So far there have only been whispers as such but I pray we have not committed such fucking idiocy.

Man i'm really looking forward to sign that kind of striker which can dribble and be psychical at same time. Milan has Leao for instance, we need that. We already have the rest of the important pieces.

What about Brehme's favorite Cabral? He looks like a flop at Fiorentina. so we may be able to pull off some free loan.

How is he my "favorite"? Just because I said he's a better player than Tammy Abraham who misses open goals more frequently than a wrong weather prediction?

Not necessarily. I just rate Abraham very low :lol:

Most strikers are confidence players. If Cabral played for a team that was oozing of winning spirit he'd be much better off. I wouldn't call him a flop as much as Fiorentina not being the right team. He has very little resemblance to Vlahovic if that's what they wanted to replicate by having him.

As a 4th striker at Inter he'd be useful. But he'd be a main striker only at a team like Roma, Lazio or Atalanta.

I haven't seen too much of him, be he reminds me of Icardi like playstyle. Him, Dzeko, Laurato and Thuram will be very cheap attack. Maybe enough for top 4 finish.

Pacey player of any kind would be great, even in defense. We can't fucking play a high line with those lamp posts at the back.

But anyways, really hoping we can snatch someone in attack, maybe after a world cup and then bonus points if we can get rid of correa in the process.
