Southgate making limone look good. 2 subs left the likes of foden & Trent and you don't use your last 2 subs.
Trent is not good in defence and he didn't want to concede, England were content with a draw.

And that is the problem right there. Being contend with a draw...You need to risk to win...

how dare these Asians beat mighty European national teams?
Iran have similar squad to them. That was not surprise at all. Wales is nothing special in Europe,it's already massive for them that they are playing here.

Depends which way you look at this.

When Persia was discovered, there was not many civilizations around , so it's kinda of hard to determine what's what

All references to Persian and their ethnicity is language based which describes them (fars) as Indo - Europeans.
bro, Persia was not discovered. Indo-Iranian culture, with Elam base, Scythian , Sarmatian, Cimmerian and Median elements were in the area for at least 3000 BCE.

True.

Erasmsus and his peers did a lot of damage on all other cultures and languages (in the name of western European supremacy and/or origin lore) and somehow are still praised.
It's like the natives in the Americas. They knew from day 1 that it wasn't India, we all know it now, yet they're still called "Indians" and you have a bunch of "west Indies" stuff : lol:

It's lovely when someone's history perspective doesn't admit it's wrong and keeps on going steady.

Persian was one of a handful cultures that shaped the world actually, and one of the oldest. And yes, it was. Probably only Chinese, Japanese and 1-2 others (ie actual Indian ones) can claim they're still the same culture as originally.

He actually meant when Persian Empire (or Achaemenid Empire) came into power, not Persia as a whole. Of course, there were Iranian civilizations that existed before them.

Persian culture still exists.

Yeah figured, but still it's them who discovered others more than the other way around.
Persian culture still exists.

Persian identity still exists, the culture is not the same as before, ie religion has changed and it's probably weighs the highest of any of the main 4 cultural traits, with language probably being the second most important one.

Greek culture for example is as old but it also saw a significant change so apart from lineage and language, the rest of the traits aren't as similar to the ancestors. Culture can deviate and still belong to the same peoples.
