So in the end, all that 'rejected big offers from abroad' just means he fucking hates Spurs

I think he would be the new ”Hamsik” of Spurs if he would get same money from them?

I've just read in one Bulgarian group information about the Skriniar's renewal saga. I don't know the source, but the rumor says that Skriniar agent said that he expects a contract similar to Barella, Lautaro and Brozovic. Inter presented the 6mln + bonuses offer before New year, but there was no reply. After that they sent to him a new offer, 7 mln + bonus, but there was again no answer. After the suppercoppa game, the truth was reveiled.
According to L'Equipe, Skriniar wants to move now, because he is afraid of possible Curva Nord's reactions.
If this is true so.. What happen between July - December? Why dont inter try to extend his contract in that whole 6 month? And they say they already try their best? lol

PSG president already said want Skriniar. I am sure there is no club in the world can block him if he want any player. Look Neymar and Messi.

honestly i dont fully agree.

You take a big step down in competitive level. There's a reason why 'secondary' leagues seldom win CLs - you dont get the 'average' competitive level high enough. You need to be competing regularly at the very top level to really push on in the CL and win it, imho. They've got an amazing team, but only made the semis once and runners up once in that mean time of any significance.

Also, its not just about the money - you want to stay competitive and surround yourself with good opponents. International TV rights, etc, help branding a lot as well.

Of that current team, how many are truly top class stars? Arguably only Mbappe, Neymar, Donna? Messi's clearly very close to retirement in one way or another, Hakimi is up and coming but struggling to push on to the top level after leaving Inter... Its not like they've got many of the absolute biggest name players?

For Skriniar, its a big financial step up, but that's his choice

Most probably because of the wage bill. I don't know how it counts, but this is the only logical explanation. Anyway, every of your posts is against the management. They have their fault indeed, but Skriniar as well.

It's extremely simple.

We prioritized Lukaku's return over keeping Skriniar on the long term deal that he deserved.

After that, shipping Sanchez off and failing to get rid of Correa, we ended up with not enough budget to allocate with some other extensions in mind. We thought Skriniar was bluffing and we took him for granted despite trying to sell him in numerous occasions.... At some point one grows tired of all the bullshit and wants to check if the grass is indeed greener on the other side.

And playing at PSG will probably be a great choice for him. The best offensive trio, the best right wing back, one of the best GKs, one of the best DMs and a relatively relaxed setting in France. Stay at Inter for much less than he deserves and be shopped to freaking Arsenal and Tottenham? Even you guys would pass on that...

I agree, the hell with Tottenham, but he would shine in the Premier League, while he will bathe in anonymity in the French league. He will win titles against, more or less, no opposition. Just my opinion

Shine in what sense?

The overrated "stars" of the EPL have their 15 minutes of fame which is translated as at best 5 seasons of football, but that's about it. No one cares about you after that.

Guys like Lingard, Smalling, Alli, Lallana, Barkley etc, obviously all England internationals which helped, but no one gives a flying fuck about these guys now and I trust you don't even know where they're playing except Smalling who's a Serie A meme.

This sort of thing is irrelevant. Every year half of the best players in the Premier League are new imported transfers anyway...

common this is BS and you probably know it... Skriniar and his agent played us (fans) and our mgm.... DUde already wanted to leave in summer but did not have the balls to tell us or he had a pact with psg from the get go...
Had he told marotta or any of our mgm i want 10 mios or ill walk for free we would have sold him for 50...
Also for the first time in forever PS fucken G did not get a player not cause the club straight up refused to sell to them but because they were to cheap to cough up another 10 to 20 mios to make it work? Also they were very confident skri would come for free in summer....
Meanwhile if what some media reports are saying and we we are 1 mio under skris demands there is no way we d let him go for free we d cough up that money even if it s just to protect our 50 to 70 mio asset.

Yes our mgm is to blame more than skriniar cause they have to look out for whats best for the club and skri has to look out for himselfe only which is what he did. While if our MGM did their job we would have sent him packing in july for those 50 mios....

How this whole story played out and how skri and his agents behaved not for a second do i believe that he ever had the intention to resign....
He played us fans with his loyality just like he played the mgm/ownership. Hard to admit but thats how it looks in hindsight imho....

Also yes we should have renewed him 2 years ago then atelast he would have had to force his way out.

Also his agent can fuck right of with that inter wanted to sell skri in summer so now we re walking for free... Buddy inter refused a 50 mio.....
Also if clubs and fans should not be offended by players walking for bigger salaries more glory than players should not be disappoinetd if clubs at least listen to other clubs offers for said players... Like wtf is this? Especially so if the club in question is in dire need for cash...
How come when the player goes for more money it well thats just the business of the game but when a struggling club listens to offers it s fucek em they wanted to sell me i m gonna fuck em over by leaving for free?

As I mentioned, shine in the sense that he won't win the league against teams like Troyes, Brest and Angers. Fuck me, I'd take Monza, Salernitana and your perennial wart like Udinese over them. He will be lost and forgotten over there. I'll admit I don't watch the french league, but think about this, guys like Thiago Motta and Zlatan have played the most games of their careers for PSG? What do you remember from their time there rather than then other big teams they plated at? Yes, Inter included

How the story played out is not out in the media yet. What's out in the media is what Marotta is feeding them, just like he always does. "The player wanted to leave".

Well fuck him.

The same player "wanted to leave" but refused any bid that came uninvited or after being shopped around by the same management that's toying with the fans through their mouthpieces. He even refused to speak to PSG until freaking November when he realized that he's not valued at Inter... And he was under bid by PSG and didn't even want to listen to their offer... Yet one thing changed. And that wasn't Skriniar...

We are beggars… we were begging Torino to take shit money for bremer over 6 months. We were begging psg to give us more for skri to go get bremer and at the we fucked ourselves…. With a shit budget we decided to waste it all on lukaku and his huge wages instead of going for dybala….. the only person I had some trust in was marotta now he has fucked everything up…. IF IT WAS DECIDED NOT TO SELL SKRI THEN GIVE HIM WHATEVER THAT FUCK HE WANTED AND THEN SEND LUKAKUS WAGES BACK TO CHELSEA

Where are you getting he didn't speak to psg until November? Psg told us in their negotiations either we accept 50m or they sign him for free next summer. Looks like they've had a deal a long time.

Sorry mate!
What you say is correct until the last sentence. You cannot give a player "whatever that fuck he wanted". We need to put a cap. We need to have a max salary reserved for our best players. Plain and simple. If you make an exception with one, you will need to make with the others. And we don`t have the finances for that.

PSG always says that because they always feel like they're ruling the world.
Their owner said that to Real Madrid when Mbappe was considering joining them on a Bosman. He paid immensely for his "honor" and this is also why he's paying Skriniar 10m a year. It's money no one can refuse. We pissed him off because we told them (Marotta, as in management) they could sign him and then Zhang pulled the plug on that deal because he thought that he could get extra money from PSG. Skriniar didn't want to leave at that point....

He was promised a top dollar offer from Inter before August and we only called the agent in fucking October for a preliminary discussion and our offer was to get a contract signed by fucking January. Well, here's January! He's been allowed to talk to anyone for 1 freaking month and our contract offer hasn't increased one bit since we first laid it on the table.

The only thing clear here is that Skriniar is not considered a top player at Inter. And he's going to leave the club as a result. Anything else is just dancing to Marotta's words, whether they're direct or indirect...

We had no indication that Skriniar would sign the deal we offered. He asked for 7m and we tried to low ball him, right after rejecting a 70m bid (55 + some player costing 15m) just because the Chinese didn't want to look bad at home by selling a key player for an insignificant amount to Arabs. Or in general sell them a key player, who knows... And I repeat, it's not really clear that Skriniar would have said yes as he was expecting to stay at Inter. You cannot blame the player for not leaving in the summer and then blame him for not signing a deal that came too little, too late several months later. Especially when you have a history of letting things escalate for no reason (eg Brozovic deal, he was kind enough to reject initiating talks with Real Madrid in February just because he had a verbal agreement to sign a contract in January but Zhang pushed it till fucking spring!!). And also a history of trying to get rid of said player. In almost every transfer window!

I love how frail to media reports Inter fans are traditionally. All the "traitors" were basically thrown under the bus by management or coach. Or both. Whether it's Ronaldo, Vieri, Simeone, Sneijder, Icardi, Skriniar now... And fans just take the bait every fucking time. I'd say it's incredible but I got used to it.

I am becoming increasingly sure that we will fail to monetize during January, he'll stay, and he's going to be absolutely shit for the rest of the season.

It's clear Skriniar's agent got the offer from PSG in the summer. We gave him a good offer. Of course not something PSG can offer. He chose the money, that's all.

Have you guys read the rumors of Ferri shouting to Skriniar in the trainings? How he wasn't happy Skriniar hadn't talked anything to the club about signing with PSG.

He wants to leave. There's no other way around it.

He isn't desperate to leave, but he wants to.
Hi Brehme. I hate to say I told you so, but i did tell you so.

It's funny when grown men act like one direction fangirls. You acted like a fan girl. You acted like a ugly fat dude who talks to a 10/10 girl irl. And now here we are, people burning his jersey lol.

Lol, i never felt any special connection to him, so for me is easy, he is free to leave. The stupid part is that he goes for free, or even a symbolic 10 mill.

Goodbye Skriniar, if you think you'll be a starter for psg, you're about to get a massive reality check my friend.

SKRINIAR TOLD FERRI AT THE END OF TODAY'S TRAINING TO INFORM THE CLUB THAT HE WOULD LIKE TO GO TO PSG NOW SINCE HE IS AFRAID OF THE SUPPORTERS REACTION TO HIS TRANSFER.
At that point our club manager and Skriniar had an heated discussion in which Ferri reminded him that when he was still deluding the club, the squad and the fans he had already signed his new contract with PSG. He also told him that the club expects him to honour his contract to the best of his abilities since he will paid by Inter until June. People which were there at the time recounted the precise word used by Ferri: "What kind of man are you? One of the most beloved player by supporters, who received the captain's armband and you kept bullshiting us. You want to go? Bring 20 M and run away. If you don't do it, it will just be your problem if the supporters spit in your fucking face"

Nicola Berti commented: "Everyone is free to play for whichever team they prefer without mocking the club and the supporters. Riccardo did really well to make him feel like shit."

Just read this from reddit, how true it is, fuck knows
