If there's gonna be a big "splurge" it should be one CB, one wingback and one attacker. All depends on who we keep when the summer ends, but those 3 seem like the most important buys right now. Frattesi wouldn't even start for us except if Barella is sold.

I'm suggesting him, because we are constantly linked to Kessie, and Frattesi looks like better investment to me. I agree, that we have more important priorities than CM.

We should ask for 1 year loan of Ivan Toney. He will not be able to play in EPL because of the betting scandal. Maybe send them Correa if they want a swap.

will they take Correa? + a few young prospects (with buy back option?) Like if not I don't see this being a possible purchase.

Any target that isn't Prospects on a buy back or Correa I just don't see us being able to afford. We are so much in debt and got to a Champions league final by spending next to no money on transfers.

I really wish we'd go all in for Hojlund from Atalanta, even let him stay there one more year. keep lukaku loan 1 more year and let him take over the next season

Kovačić contract expires in 2024, when he'll be 30. Should we take him next summer? Would he count as a Clubgrown/Homegrown player for us?

He isn't world class, but his passing and his dribbles are still something that I think Inzaghi could implement into our team.

Depends on the wages for me.

Nicolas Jackson of Villareal.. fits the profile of pace and dribbling, 21 years old, scored 8 goals in the last 6 games. According to Fab Romano he has a release clause of 35 Million this summer.

In an ideal world a signing like this would replace Correa. And we would keep Lukaku/Dzeko for another season.

In hindsight spending 30 mil on Correa hurts so much. That’s big money for us these days, we basically have to get it right every time we spend real money.

+ 50 million for not selling Skriniar ……

That could have fixed our finances if we hadn’t made some of these dumb decisions
