I don't understand how is possible to blame Handana for those goals?
He is the best what we can get for a second goalkeeper, if he wants to stay and reduce his salary.

i'm ok to exercise handanovic for one season if Inter sign berardi and Cuadrado to meazza next season. Berardi and Cuadrado are obviously handa weakness and with both in our side, handanovic can play more relaxed without his weakness is going to expose.

Handa is overall not one of the best Serie A goalkeepers, at least not top10. His mentality just isn't on the level of a player like Toldo. Why do we have overrate every Inter player we like? I'm gonna say he was good, but he is more Chivu of goalkeepers than Zanetti of goalkeepers.

Handa is like the perfect encapsulation of Inter of this past 11 years. He can be a world beater, but as soon as something goes wrong, it's back to slowly picking themselves up and looking like not caring. I have the same issue with Brozović.

P.S.: If you don't agree with me, that's okay. I only tell it how I see it.

Footballing wise, he's surely one of the greatest goalkeepers of Inter and also in Italian football as well but I do agree that regarding mental aspect he was somewhat a level below compared to elite. Not sure how he's in the locker room and as a person in overall but from what we've seen in the pitch for all these years, he seems like a mute guy who doesn't have the leadership attribute.

I was never a fan of him being a captain but since we had no better solution, I was okay with it. He's a typical serial killer. Doesn't express himself too much but he'a always there to deliver when it matters.

Goalkeepers are prone to decisive errors though. Their mistakes will cost matches, like big time but in overall Handa was always the most consistent player throughout the years along with Icardi. These two were delivering in a weekly basis, no matter whom we had coach, players or whatever.

He's had his weakness as well, but who doesn't? We should only be proud of what he's done for this club through these years, and the past couple of years shouldn't be a negative factor of his huge baggage behind him.

I get your view but you don't have to be constantly fired up and angry at everyone to have a type of mentality.

That's why I'm saying that as long as Inter didn't become one of contenders for the title (under Mancini and Spalletti), he looked a lot more comfortable because the expectations weren't as high as before. Under Mancini and Spalletti I really didn't like him, but at least he got better at some things, like distribution.

To be honest, with Conte he looked a bit better also because our defence was fixed and probably Conte hyped him up as well... but last season he was one of our worst players when we had the gameday 24-30 collapse that costed us the Scudetto.

I'm happy that he was here, but if I say he is one of the best goalkeepers in the whole history of Serie A is a bold faced lie. Serie A has a huge history of legendary goalkeepers.

It's been like this for many years by several Inter fans, nothing changed yesterday.

He is the best what we can get for a second goalkeeper, if he wants to stay and reduce his salary.
He's getting older and older and if he's not playing he's not going to be as sharp as possible, so ideally we replace him with a Sportiello, Sepe or Cragno type who wouldn't complain about a backup spot but also wouldn't be liabilities in case they have to play an important game.

I criticised him. A goalkeepers performance goes further than just what he concedes. The goals he could do nothing.
Pinamontis shot, he basically missed the ball and is incredibly lucky it didn't end up in the corner. It was such a shit shot too.

Then a couple of crosses came into the box that he flopped at.
Some occasions were a pass back to him was in but defenders chose to clear it

He inspires no confidence in our defenders. He just leads nervous energy and tension. That's why Im critical of him.

Thanks for everything handa he was a beast but he's done and inzaghi is playing with fire rotating him in meaningful matches

But he is not so done. Definitely he ain't good enough for first choice, as we've already seen last season, but he is much more reliable as a back up than Radu or some other trash.

Screw that, I've never liked him and I'll breathe a huge sigh of relief when he's gone and I never have to worry about him "defending" our goal ever again.
Same. I mean,I liked him when he was good in banter era. He was even underrated back then outside of Inter fans. Then he became worse and worse,in serious decline since 2017 or 2018 while became captain at the same time. People started defending him like crazy while he was to blame for more and more fuckups. But no,people acted for years like he is saint and you can't criticize him for anything. Was attacked by so many for years trying to point out his mistakes (before people finally realized he is declining to the level he can't stay on goal anymore). Was never his fault, always someone else to blame according to fans. Becoming weak ass captain is another story. Saying he is not captain material and then later accepting the armband. Not brave or capable enough to be captain and leader and take responsibility while Icardi was here so we instead feeded already large Argentinian ego which was a mistake and could have been different with real leaders in the locker room but Handanovic apparently was not that. Lost pretty much all respect for him with that, was always fake captain to me. Onana finally sitting his ass on the bench this season is something that should have happened like at least 3 years ago (and we for some reason waited so long to find new good keeper) but it was still satisfying in the end. Thank you and goodbye. Or stay with reduced salary as a backup, whatever (and that is only acceptable if we don't have money for a serious backup). Just don't give him minutes anymore unless Onana is injured or need rest which was not the case in this few games this season that he is playing.

Grande Handana! He was a bit shaky in some moments, but that save against Jovic was brilliant.
Bulgarian commentator said that Inter is negotiating a new contract with him. I don't know the source though.

All due respect to Samir. But Onana has been a real upgrade. Much move involved in the build-up play and it's like cheating with 12 players.

Great save for that Jovic dribble + shot, a gamesaver.

Though he almost fumbled that Gonzalez play. But overall, good game, victory, trophy! Grande Handa!

I think the team needs a new, younger goalie. Handa been in Inter for a decade and he is 38. time to get a young blood, with all due respect to Handa.

I think he will stay as a back up goalie, not a starter.

Well, he is not a starter this year either. Unless Onana moves on to more money.
