They need to get rid of 31 players !! 150m worth of players and a whole bench coming from Chelsea would be good. He is better than Kepa who they dropped 70m for. So give us double in players.
I don't want players specifically, but if we sell Onana for let's say 60mln, Dumfries for 30 and Gosens for 18, that is total of 108mln, which can be invested in our mercato. 20mln for Pavard, 20mln for new goalie, get Perisic back,.and there are still left 68 mln to strengthen the team.

Yea, maybe. But with the rumors that the mercato will be self financed, I see this as a decent solution to improve the squad overall. Onana is great for us because of his footwork, and we will downgrade that position for sure if we sell him. But, nobody expect to play CL final next year, so it's acceptable sacrifice.

The problem is that selling Onana may put Inter's top 4 standing for next season in jeopardy. Really Lautaro, Barella, Bastoni and Onana should be "the untouchables" and build around them. The financial situation makes it slow going, management needs to ask the question first is the replacement better or the same that they currently have, then is that player cheaper in cost.
Some should be relatively easy; Dumbo, Gagliardini and Correa. Then Onana's backup. Is keeping Dzeko and De Vrij worth it at those prices or not. Then the Dumfries, Gosens and Brozovic replacement questions if they are indeed for sale.

And who's fault is that? If you set the bar at 4m for a guy who plays as a sub and an occasionall start...of course, the guy who will probably save his ass would want and deserve more.

Chelsea throwing hundreds at millions on shit like Mudryk and Cucurella. Watch us set Onana’s asking price at €15m.

Jokes aside, for whatever reason Onana doesn’t strike me as the type who would demand a new contract or try force a move.

All of them? There are so many factors that decide if a player wants to stay or not - like how the management acted, how the future of the club looks like, what kind of new transfers are coming and going, how much money is spent and what kind of wages are set, how well the players get along, who is the coach, ...

If you think players only think about wages, think again.

I am happy for every really good player that stays here for at least 5 seasons. It's a rarity for a broke club like Inter. Players come and go, just look at Napoli. Last summer all Napoli supporters were pissed off Koulibaly was leaving, but they made the right decisions.

Yeah it makes me laugh when I read things like "if a certain player leaves we won't win anything for the next 5 years" or "if the x player is sold we will be back to the banter era." Players always come and go and their replacements do not necessarily have to have the same characteristics and contribution as them, but the team still function and get results as a collective effort.

The only thing I'm scared is the time after Marotta. I hope he has an understudy at Inter right now.

I mean the Skriniar thing sucks because he fk'd us and then felt like he never played again or cared. I know he had a back problem but still feels that way. So not only did we get fk'd out of 50+ million player we are being fucked for half a season with him not playing and us paying his contract

Hopefully he learns from Lukaku and Perisic, and doesn't want to go there. Will want to come back a year later
