Marcelo is still poor at defending add to that we have no chance of getting him. 15m for Bastos is a good deal for us, he's only 27 which is still a good age, we would get a good few seasons out of him. If you think we shouldn't be buying players at the age of 27 then that's nonsense.

Yeah, with a decent coach we'd get top 3, with a coach in the mould of Capello we'd win the league. However, if we got someone like Mihajlovic or that sort of bracket of manager, I think we'd struggle unless we reinvested, which I doubt MM would do as this would only be a stop-gap solution!!
