There was a period where Hakan wasn’t shooting that much either until everyone was like wtf dude— you can hit the ball straight at the keeper and still score.

I think he needs a good run of games to fully adapt to the tactics and build some confidence. Mkhitaryan just won’t sit down. Maybe with Calha out, he’ll get more opportunities.

He’s a decent 4/5th option. Smart player, good runs, passing, holdup— reliable in these respects, therefore useful. He’s just never going to bang them in with any sort of regularity for us unless he finds some confidence. He’s getting paid too much for this role, but that’s another thing.
