    Nicolò Barella

We also handled them at home. Infact Barella tore them a new one at Giuseppe Meazza. Can’t really compare the situation guys.

    Simone Inzaghi

Yeah sure. Marotta wouldn’t be anything without competent Ausilio, and Baccin. Ausilio and Baccin wouldn’t be anything without competent Inzaghi. Inzaghi wouldn’t be anything without competent staff and assistants. And all of them could go to hell without competent players. This is what...

    Simone Inzaghi

Never going to understand the Suning hate tbh. We all should be remembered where we come from. The season they bought majority shares we played EL, the year after we didn’t play European football at all.

    Nicolò Barella

I won’t go into whether Gerrard or Barella would be the better player, because it’s two different styles really, but I will just leave something here to show how underrated Barella is. Barella has won Serie A once (close to twice), three times Supercoppa, two times Coppa Italia, one European...

    Simone Inzaghi

Nah actually I always supported Inzaghi, Lauti, etc. and still will, because they are doing a marvelous job in general, but tonight was simply not good enough, and I hope and think that he will see that himself. Let’s split the game into scenarios: - Atletico dominated the first 15-20ish...

    Simone Inzaghi

I‘m on board with this, but not today of all days. He had the chance to insert a pacey player to shake things up upfront, but decided to leave him at the bench. I also have no idea why Bastoni had to leave the pitch for Acerbi and neither did him looking at his reaction. The timing of subbing...

    Lautaro Martinez

Sad sad moment for him. Wouldn’t have changed the outcome big time though as we were still one behind. He had a tough task, because we didn’t go to Madrid to play football. Had some really good runs overseen by Mkhi (or overhit passes) and basically set up Thuram for the decider. He also set...

    Simone Inzaghi

We’ve done exactly one mistake; we’ve been shitting on every team this season because we’ve managed to impose our game play on them. As soon as we withstood the starting half hour we should have gone on with our game play. Even bigger of a mistake was the experiment with Pavard, Bisseck...

Will be funny to eventually see jaws dropping as soon as Taremi shows his worth. His style of play is inch perfect for what we are looking for, and this season there were many many things to take into account when rating his performance. To me it is enough that prior to that he has been a...

    Nicolò Barella

Barella has the same problem as Lautaro - they are much better without time to think what to do. When playing based purely on instinct his shooting power and accuraccy is crazy, but as soon as you give him time, he explores too many options and doesn't execute with full concentration.

    Kristjan Asllani

I think that the truth lies somewhere in the middle re Asllani. While I cannot deny that I see him becoming a very good, maybe even great player under the right circumstances, I do think that he is our biggest weakness after Audero. He is not experienced enough for the highest of levels. He...

    Inter - Genoa (4 Mar 24) [2-1]

Damn this was closer than it should’ve been. Nothing against Asllani, as I think he will eventually become a very good player in his position, but right now I would be happier to have a more reliable back up for Calhanoglu.

Mercato Team (Ausilio, Marotta, & Co.) and Strategies

Lucas Vasquez is a good one. Another interesting one to have a look at would be Josha Vagnoman from VfB Stuttgart. Very similar type to Dumfries (physical characteristics) with more promising looks in regard of techincal and tactical abilities.

    Inter - Atalanta (28 Feb 24) [4-0]

His interview clearly shows he doesn’t want to discourage his guys, because they gave their all, but he basically said there was nothing to get tonight, let’s keep our focus in the future. Talking sweet about how the game was tighter than the result is part of the game. I’m pretty sure Gasp saw...

    Inter - Genoa (4 Mar 24) [2-1]

Important to find a balance between keeping up the rhythm and rotating the next weeks, but Inzaghi seems to have understood. We have to be careful not to let the Bayern München syndrome kick in: play in the league with low intensity which results in harming your CL performance in clutch time...

Dimarco knew. I would question myself in that case if I was Lauti. Dude has to practice penalties.

    Inter - Atalanta (28 Feb 24) [4-0]

Certainly Bastoni kicked the ball to Miranchuks arm (without purpose), but Miranchuk approached Basto like he was about to hug him, so no scandals here. Clear hand. Great goal by Toro btw.

Another name that should be considered is Meret as he has still not extended his contract with Napoli.

Bank the money for him. Never ever a disappointment.
