A little worrying. Obviously this is a situation no player would be happy about, but sometimes how a company handles such crisis says a lot about their character. I am a bit worried for Inter. The only thing saving us so far is the valuation and Suning's big investment which they want to recover. If at any time Suning feel they can earn more money by selling off our players, I have no illusions that they won't do just that.

Eder hits out at Suning: 'They're all liars'

Former Inter forward Eder lashed out at Suning after FC Jiangsu ceased operations. ‘They disrespect all employees and players. They were all liars’.

The 34-year-old moved from Inter to JS Suning in July 2018 and his contract expires in June 2021.

The former Italy international helped the club win the Chinese Super League in 2019-20 but Jiangsu FC announced that the club have ceased operations.

“Due to the overlap of various uncontrollable elements, Jiangsu Football Club cannot effectively guarantee the continuation of the activity,” a statement read.

“From now on, Jiangsu Football Club will stop.”

And the Brazilian-born striker Eder has reacted with rage and hits out at the current Inter owners.

“Suning will not continue to invest in football,” Eder told Oriental Sports Daily, according to SportItalia.

“They disrespect all employees and players, they simply left us without salary and prevented us from playing for other clubs.

“They were all liars. We did a great thing for the Suning Group, even winning the Chinese championship, but we didn’t get the treatment and respect we deserved.

“If the Suning Group goes bankrupt, I can understand it, but not how they treated us. We were locked up in hotels for several months, spreading the name of Suning around the world, but we received such treatment with no respect!

“The sporting director has always proved himself as a liar and has never respected what he promised us.”

You may call this prejudice or whatever, but I think there's always a risk in going to work/live in China. Suning's situation is obviously different, but you kind of have to accept your safety and comfortability can change very quickly in China as opposed to somewhere else like Italy. No amount of pay-raise you see in going there will change that. I feel for him and other players, but whatever....should've gone back to Samp I guess.
