Padelli merely exposed that our defense isn't good enough. He did concede some relatively easy goals, sure, but cannot really put the entire blame on him for not being a top class keeper like Handanovic.

What? The only Seria A game we lost with Padelli was the 2:1 against Lazio. And one of the goals was a penalty. Maybe you can blame him for the second.

Looking at the players who featured regularly it has to be Gagliardini. I’ve been saying it for a long time now, this guy is absolute garbo. Can’t believe people were arguing how much potential he has because his defensive awareness and long balls are world class.
Unfortunately I also agree with the person who voted for Skriniar (Universe?), very forgettable season overall, tons of mistakes, never looked comfortable, no stand out games in a positive way. Definitely deserves an „honorable“ mention.

Edit: In public transportation rn, and didn’t check the list of players. Lazaro also deserves an honorable mention. Conte deserves to be slapped for this request, it was clear even before he played his first match he wasn’t good enough. By far the worst transfer of the season, 25 mil down the drain.
