yeah if we get aguero i think it will be ok, as he is young and has huge potential? as for the claims against vargas, how good is maicons left foot? it doesn't matter if he is too predictable, the point is going forward he gives us pace and crosses down the left flank, which means the team is better off than relying on maicon all the time. also chivu does not have the same speed and isn't all that good at crossing. and i agree there is no reason why eto'o should be left winger when he is so deadly through the middle.

we just need 4-5 players this summer to take us to the next level and also to help plan for the future when some of our current stars retire: kolarov and vargas if possible. aguero up front. veloso or toulalan in the middle. and then zapata or one of the young italians at the back as a new DC. matrix is too old and slow now, cordoba is 33, capitano is 37, samuel and lucio are not young either. we cannot afford to go the same way as AC and be a team of OAP cripples...

Castro seems an interesting link. Doubt there's any truth but he's probably a cheaper option then Vargas for the left wing spot. He also has a rocket of a shot.

Seems like we bought Felipe Ribeiro de Souza André AKA André. He is going to be loaned or co-owned to Chievo. Would like to have someone confirm this, though. He has 21 goals in 37 games for Santos.

Chori Castro is a free-agent. Wouldn't mind if we signed him mainly as a back-up. He could then show his worth. He obviously shouldn't be our only signing to bolster our front-line, but would hardly fail in replacing Mancini and Quaresma . I've seen some good things from him, but I'm very careful nowadays when it comes to getting excited about wingers we are abot to sign.

Cavani then again, I'd like quite abit. Very mourinhoesque.

Mou likes Mario as player for sure (only a stupid couldn't),he dislikes his attitude and now it seems that something is changing but we must wait until we can say something about it.... anyway I think Mario will remain.

I don't see Cavani coming unless Balotelli leaves. They are both main type strikers who CAN play other places. If anything I think we would bring a more creative striker. Our only real second striker is Pandev.

as i said before aguero is the guy we need, he is a proven quality player and regularly scores in the champions league (even against the likes of chelsea) and he is young and Argentinian - perfect for us!

cavani is a good player, but not sure he is better than mario? as for those against mario, let us remember he is only 19. we need to think of how good he will be aged 24-30. he already has scored in some important games against the like of juve in the coppa, just think of what he will achieve in the future for us...yes his attitude is bad and he annoys me like hell, but like cassano, it is probably worth it, only more so?
