Yeah, and this is interesting (sorry for repeating myself).

My concern with playing with two strikers is that Milito and Eto'o are pretty much from the same template. And they are the starting lineup candidates for sure. IMO Balotelli can be developed to play all-around forward with qualities for target-play and fancy dribbling. Pandev is the fancy dribbling guy with an imagination. It can be a bit confusing to play Eto'o-Milito as our fixed starters since they don't support each other's qualities too much.

But if the new coach uses two striker system, then we can at least see Balotelli playing as a striker again, which is what I'm looking forward to.

If we do indeed get a new manager, I can see us making a new bid for Antonio Cassano. Like many I have been a longtime admirer of him and I'd love to see him here, especially considering that he is an Interista.

Mourinho supposedly blocked the transfer last year, but with a new manager, someone who has an idea of new tactics, might see some usefullness in Cassano. However, even if we keep the 4-2-3-1 (which I think we will), I'd see him as pretty useful in that as well, since he can play as a wide striker also.

However, it will be hard trying to persuade Sampdoria...Juventus are apparently getting ready to raid their squad, and they are in the CL, so they might try to hold on as much as they can.

I think Cassano is after all not useleful in wide position. Unless his role is just forward without any defensive duties. And that would make him as forward anyway (and not winger/flanked forward). But I'd love to have Cassano at Inter.

Cassano with one of our center forwards, Balotelli being his substitute. Pandev would be redundant, but he could be a 2nd option for that role in addition to being a sub for Sneijder (even though he sucks there ). I'd just love to see Cassano at Inter. :star:

Well, GDS reports that we will go for a big name striker. And they name Torres or Higuan.

Midfielders wise, the alternative is Mascherano but the main name is Gerrard. I'll post the articles later on.
