Tall
Cheap transfer
22 years old
 what does tall have to do with anything? Only good thing is that he's Kenyan and so am I  But really, he adds nothing to our lineup, really a waste of time. Would rather Džemaili, Parma got him loan from Torino last summer free of charge. Kid is young and technical, kind like Sneijder but less quality, can play anywhere in midfield... all this is just preplexing... what the hell are we going to do with Mariga

I can't say anything about Mariga by what I've seen myself. But what I've heard, he's been quite influential for Parma this season.

he's hardly played.

I am an Helsingborg supporter, and McDonald Mariga played for us for 1½ years before he went to Parma (2006-07). We used him mainly as a defensive midfielder, and I remember him as strong but technical with a good passing ability. A bit like a young Patrick Vieira. Will be interesting to see if he can make any impact at Inter. Injured this year, but I heard that he was very influential for Parma in Serie B. Before he came to Helsingborg, he adapted to Europe in Swedish third division's Enköping.

He started Parma's first 7 matches then got injured. He just started their last match again and was set to start against us yesterday.

Thanks a lot for this info.

We have also a thread for Mariga since now he's an Inter player.

Let him play for Milan. Then we would be able to see if it is Mancini who is trash, or is it Inter who could not use Mancini effectively. But I have to admit he has got a point when he says that he was asaked to stay by Mourinho at the last moments of the summer window - and yet was not given much opportunities.

If you recall the winter of 2008, similar thing happenned with Jiminez as well - Mourinho said that he wud be using Jiminez, but we din get to see him play a lot.

Not that I would hold anything against Mourinho if these blokes were not strong enough in practice except the fact that he should have let them go.

With the arrivial of Mariga, I think all the rumors linking Inter to those physical players (, like Moussa Sissoko, Jean II Makoun...) will stop.

In the summer, Inter can focus on bringing in players with strong technique.

Still hope we can sign Yaya Toure though. He would be a massive improvement to all our DM (Cambiasso included) and a player who is physical + technical.

Yaya Toure + 1 of Hamsik / Gerard / Fabregas and Coutinho in the summer and nobody can stop us.

I remember distantly the name of Feghouli. Maybe from last summer? He's an attacking midfielder in Grenoble, apparently a little club in Ligue 1. Now his agent says Inter tried to get him for 10m€. Lol I say. However his contract runs out next summer. Who knows, maybe we are after this guy since he can be signed for free.

Though as Coutinho is coming as well, and this Fegouli being only 20, they might eat each others chances as an understudy of Sneijder.
