THE SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER AND WE STILL REMAIN WITH THE SAME OLD AND TIRED PLAYERS

not only tht we even sold our star forward :eek:blivious:

we must be the only club crazy enough to instead of solving our midfield problems like we should we create more problems in other areas :slick:

Inter need to sign a CM that has good stamina, a nice shot, and adequate passing ability...basically a younger version of Deki.
stanko was never good enough to start for inter, then and now, at least not as CMF.

speaking about genoa, why are we more interested in kucka and not veloso? kucka has only played 6 months in italy. although veloso is not much a senior but i thought veloso is more of an established player.

i reckon we could easily pry Veloso away on a ownership deal with Genoa. he didn't have the best of seasons last year and looked disinterested for large spells. However i reckon Gasperini knows him well enough and if he isn't pushing for a move, then...

 its the inter way. i said it wen we lost to atalanta all those years ago in 2002 on our way to our first scudetto since '89.... we are our own worst enemy.

I'm very disapointed that we're not interested in Guarin...He is excelent Box to Box midfielder...Midfield with Guarin, Sneijder, Cambiasso and Motta for example, would be full of class in attack and very solid in defence...

We could get Guarin + Forlan for around 20m€, and if we would bring Tevez on loan, that would be fantastic...but it wont happen...We are chasin KUČKA :(
I reckon we're overrating Guarin a tad. not many porto fans rate him that much.

we could never arrange a deal like that. we'd probably screw up and offer 16m plus bonuses :palm: And that's their Mr X  Losers.

Guarin isn't even an undisputed starter for Porto. I don't understand how people here are all hot for Guarin and hate Kucka etc. Would be cool if people made their own evaluations about players and not just follow the trends here.

Selling our star forward was necessary. We couldn't afford to not sell him. Now let's see how we proceed from here, then criticize our management if there is a reason to do so.

Let's put the Eto'o matter to rest shall we? Financially, it made absolute sense to sell him. With financial fair play kicking in, this was a super duper offer we just couldn't pass.

Post-financial fair play, you're gonna see an Inter that will be sustainable and better managed. And we will look back at this deal with pride.

I don't want him here, but that's not true at all. He wasn't starter in the first matches, then, he was an undisputed one. Key player in their 3 titles.

Pride? hell no. you don't see other big teams selling their best players to meet FFP standards. Truth is Moratti fucked up, our financials are a mess and now we have no other alternative but to sell our best players. If Moratti had his head screwed on a little tighter we wouldn't be in this mess.

where, when and who has said that the club is in a financial mess? or is that only now the case because of FFP?

We've always been in a financial mess, FFP just means we have to fix it.

Very well said. And we have to remember, with the overspending (spending more than we generate) we won all the Scudetti and the incredible treble. Just want to mention this to put things in perspective.

sorry, know this is off topic.

but in this case, why are we the only club looking to straighten up or this simply an excuse to relieve ourselves of some of the financial burden. Surely FFP means Milan can't afford Ibra............

In anycase, does this mean that there are plans to re-negotiate existing contracts, especially with the older more loyal players like Stankovic?

When Deki first came over from Lazio, he was by far our best midfielder at the time. Him and Adriano practically carried us the 2nd half of the season and were the reason we got that final 4th CL spot. As for Veloso? I'd pass. I barely noticed him at Genoa last season and if you can't hack it for a mid-table club, you won't hack it at Inter.

i really dont know what Mister X. a player who can increase Milan's level to CL? if so, LOL.

However its very hard to find world class players for mezz'ala role, Noone wants to sell their players, Napoli didnt want to sell Hamsik for instance. i think they are trying to find a vice to Seedorf. Aquilani is good choice for them.

Regarding Kucka, i think that Genoa can sell him to us considering they already have his replacement in Rossi. They have an interesting midfield.

Kucka as RCM, Veloso as CDM, Constant as LCM. Milanista Merkel as trequartista. i'd rather to have Kucka than Veloso.

im asking same question to myself.

We cant afford both Sneijder and Eto'o, as we needed to sell one of them. How come that Milan can afford Pato, Cassano, Robinho, ibrahimovic together?

Milan doesnt have the likes of Chivu and Pandev to earn over 3 mils per year and play NOTHING... Just to full fill our wage budget.

Milan's total wage bill is higher than ours

They now have one year contract policy to +30 players. Many of their midfielders are out of contract next summer. They will drop wage more next year. i read somewhere that Flamini now makes 5.1 m euros a year at them. LOL. He is out of contract next summer. They didnt keep Pirlo because of contract length. its a good way to lower wage bills. 1 year contract policy to +30 players. Maybe they are keeping them because of it. Maybe because of Berlusconi.

They just let Pirlo go, signed Taiwo, Mexes, El Shaarwy. it seems they will end up with Aquilani as well. Pretty good mercato for them.

Milan fans definetely are out of this world. They want Milan to sign Montolivo, Balotelli, Kaka and Aquilani together.

I just dont kno why and i cant understand why we arent linked with a player like Ibrahim Afellay ... he is cheap like 12-16 with a wage of no more than 3-3.5 , he is barley used by Barca and maybe unwanted , he is a class player who could work out so good with snjeider ... what do you think guys ?

Inter had a chance but Afellay wanted Barca...not awhole lot that can be done. Same could be said for Sahin, a young CM Inter could have chased but he only wanted Madrid. Most, if not all, young players want to go to Madrid, Barca, or a top EPL squad. Italy is currently not a top destination. In turn, Italian squads must follow suit of Bundesliga teams, developing young talent that will improve league strength and national teams.

IMO, more Italian squads need to look at the likes of Udinese in terms of scouting and development. One thing that must change is selling players to the highest bidder.
