I haven't seen him much either. I've seen him in the match against England and another maybe 1 or 2 matches which I can't remember.


What a remember from him was Cambiasso type of player. He doesn't get involved in attack and mostly spends his time in his half of the pitch. mostly uses short passes, no long passes. Still, I could be wrong.

Maybe someone who watches him regularly can tell us more?

Well I disagree, I think he will do something stupid and ruin his career. Players are more than just their raw talent on the pitch, everyone here should have learned that lesson from Zanetti. His arrest goes to show he is hot-headed, doesn't have patience, whereas I have seen no mentality issues with Song. Why do you think Royston Drenthe gets loaned out to random clubs every season by Real Madrid? He clearly has natural talent but is a total brainless idiot.

This is why I would take Song over M'Vila. Does he have more raw talent? Perhaps. But Song would be a more sensible choice.

He plays one season as a deep lying playmaker because Fabregas left and suddenly he's no good as a DMF for which he played the rest of his career? No, I don't buy that for one second.

If any one of us remembers this dicussion, maybe we should come back in 2-3 years and see what has happened with these two. It's the only way to settle it. BTW, I also never said M'Vila and Song were exactly the same type of player, but they play similar position when their managers aren't messing around with the squad.
