Browha, would you say Bianchetti would be ready to return after this season? It seems like he's been getting a lot of minutes in Serie B. I'll assume Benedetti will play for Torino next season as well (assuming he's still co-owned).

I dont know. I like to see a player establish themselves in Serie A before I want them back at Inter. Biraghi, for example, is what I would say 'ready for a bench role'.

Bianchetti is doing well, but this is the first time in his career he's getting regular first team minutes. Last season he only played 1 full match, and subbed on 6 times in Serie B.

I'd like to give him another year first, tbh.


I think MBaye, Duncan, Biraghi are probably Inter-bench-ready. I think Benassi should spend another year out developing, it'd be better for him.

The thing about MBaye and Biraghi is that we already have D'Ambrosio, Jonathan, and Nagatomo. We've been linked with quite a number of wing backs recently and assuming we sign 1 or 2 more and Zanetti doesn't renew, that's 5-7 players for two positions. Surely they won't be getting the playing time they need.

Duncan would be great for a 2nd choice CM/DM although it's hard to say at this point. With all the players leaving on contract expiration and the dead weight being sold, the team next season will be very different. He really needs to return but there will be numerous signings as well.

Biraghi's been playing a lot but I assumed that was because Monzon flopped (remember reading something about it). Is he *good* enough? He's never impressed me in the couple times I've seen him (with the caveat that Catania are awful this season...)

Hasn't been getting the best reviews from what I've seen thus far. But it's his first season in the top flight, maybe in a year he'll be more acclimated and ready to perform for a better team.

He's done okay. Not amazingly, not too badly.

I think Biraghi and MBaye as 1st choice backups is fine. We will probably sell Jonathan and release Zanetti, so two inter products as backups there is perfect imho

I'd rather wait to bring back our youngsters when they're ready to fight for a start spot. It's a double edged sword, because obviously we want them here growing with the team and playing at a higher level. However, if we are going to make them bench warmers ala Wallace, than it's really not that beneficial to have youth players a back ups.

I'd rather us leave them on loan till they're 22 or so, at least able to physically withstand the tougher games. If a player is good enough to play for us at 20 than I'm all for that to, but most aren't, certainly not under Mazzarri.

Shame that Garritano landed on Cesena's bench. Liked what I saw of him against Lazio last season.

Seems to be quite a technical player from the limited games I've caught of him in B (albeit very raw, but there's some potential there).

On another note, hopefully Bianchetti can continue keeping a starting berth at Spezia. He was quite impressive from what I saw of him with the Italy u21 NT. Haven't seen him in a Spezia shirt yet though.

I think a gradual phasing in over a year or two years is fine. Remember, as a rotation option they'll still probably get 5-10 starts a season and maybe 10-15 sub on. That's fine, imho, as they'll learn a lot in training too.

Also its important to remember that Biraghi isn't 18 or 20, he's 22 next season. MBaye is younger but very talented
