Why do you think Roma would want that?

Get Quintero at that point. Better player, cheaper wages and cheaper. They sold Iturbe for Quintero. Now they want to get rid of Quintero because they have Hector Herrera. No way we can afford Herrera but again we don't play a formation for him.

Porto is great at selling a player once they already have a better one lined up. They sold us Periera when they already had Danilo.

Because he wants to leave, and they don't really want to get rid of Ljajic because he is association trained

Watch the first few games of EPL, some of the players I wish we had gone after, rather than wasting our summer being hung up on Salah/Perisic:

1. Florian Thauvin, 22 yrs, RW, joined Newcastle for €18m.
2. Dimitri Payet, 28 yrs, AM, joined West Ham for €15m.
3. Riyad Mahrez, 24 yrs, RW, Leicester bought him for less than €1m last year.
4. Andre Ayew, 25 years, LW, Free transfer to Swansea.

While it is easy to say in retrospective, apart from Mahrez who is a revelation this season so far, the other 3 were quite obvious buys. And they probably would have preferred Inter to the clubs they went to. WE could have got all of them for the money we received from the Kovacic sale.

Then lets all thank god you dont have anything to say which were going after for if you would get your wish you could forget to even dream about CL spot

Thauvin for 18 mill? Are you guys serious?

On the other hand he'd be more exciting to watch than anyone we're linked to and basically anyone we have other than Kondogbia, so I can see it from that angle. Payet would've been great if we had a proper coach. I think Andre Ayew would've been a great signing instead of spending 18 mill on Perisic or Lavezzi's monster wages.

The winger I would've liked to see at Inter is Kevin Volland. I don't watch him a lot but from the few games I saw he was a complete and intelligent player. He is also a leader and captain of the Germany u21s.

Perisic shits on every player you mentioned its not even close fyi. Thauvin is exciting but far far from a finished product and we need someone which can come in and improve us right from the block and Perisic brings so so much more to the table than Thauvin does in terms of his entire arsenal actually.

I agree, Thauvin isn't complete and he's really inconsistent. He also has a poor mentality. My point is that he would be a lot more exciting to watch than Perisic or Lavezzi so I can understand why people would want him here despite not agreeing with it. He would make it easier to tolerate a Brozovic-Hernanes-Guarin midfield, at the end of the day I watch football for entertainment. In the end though, he could make it a lot more difficult because he's a frustrating player to watch. I've said many times in the past I don't want him here. No less for what Newcastle paid for him, which is undeserved.

I still think Ayew for free on 2.5 mill/year would've been a better signing than shelling out 18 mill on Perisic or whatever the fuck we would pay for Lavezzi.

Man, how could you say Thauvin is not a finished product? Didn't you see his bicycle kick against PSG?!

Guys, please also look at the cost angle here. We probably could have bought Mahrez, Payet & Ayew for 20-25m, and they are quite a credible 3 behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1.

IMO Payet could have been a beast in Serie A. I am not sure he will have the same impact in the EPL (though he has played well in a poor side so far). But he is like a skilful AM with the intensity and urgency of a Vidal. I think we need a player with that kind of intensity. A definite upgrade on Hernanes!

Ayew was available on a free. Mahrez could have been bought very cheaply (and what a start he has had to the season). These could be in addition to a Perisic, look at these players as options instead of a Biabiany or even a Perotti.

Thauvin clearly divides people in believers and non-believers. He had a poor last season, but he is 22. I think he has a very high ceiling. But I can understand why some people would prefer a more consistent Perisic instead.

Lavezzi's agent:

"I don't know anything of Inter asking [about] or looking at Lavezzi," he said.

"I haven't read what the Italian tabloids wrote in the last few days. I'll say this again, I know nothing of Lavezzi going to Inter."

I know people are still going off about Kovacic but let's not devalue Perisic. Dude will be one of our best players as soon as he steps on the field.

Since we have been linked to him this summer? I have never heard of this player or seen any of you mention him before this summer. Now he is one of the best play makers in the world?

As for the guys we should have gone after we don't have money to bring in players that cost more then 15 million.

I am fine with selling Shaq and Kova as we got 40+ million on 2 subs. One was almost never used at past 2 clubs. You know who else had a great World Cup and never ever plays for his clubs. Pablo Armero hasn't started for a club since he left Udinese haha

I think Biabany and Miranda are bad moves. Miranda if we don't sell Rano or Juan.

There's probably a reason why Corinthians are desperate to get rid of Pato and I don't want to find out first hand at Inter.

Pato plays for São Paulo not Corinthians. Haha he out on loan if they own him and his numbers aren't exactly great, high wages and not a cheap transfer

Watching Cheslea v West Brom. We should have gone after Rondon dude is a total beast out there. We should have got him 2 seasons ago when he scored a hattrick on us. Him + Icardi would have been awesome

Also Chelsea suck. We should have gotten that Begovic guy. Awesome GK.

Borini in Milan for his medical within 2 days? I am not impressed. Again, its quantity instead of quality. What exactly can he give which Palacio, Babiany can't?
