I agree, I just don't see Mourinho letting him go for the same reasons you mentioned. He has been playing really well at CB and it seems he and Bailly have a budding partnership. I think he might even keep Smalling out honestly.

Blind is a quality player. He was signed as a DM but he looked most impressive as CB. Again we have to thank Van Gaal for that. Last season I didn't like the idea of him playing CB as he wasn't strong physically but the way he handled Lukaku, Benteke and other physical beast strikers was superb.

He has few very poor games and under Van Gaal our CBs were instructed to follow the striker, so sometimes like a wanderer he looked out of place chasing striker to the midfield position. Overall he was very good last season. When Jose came in many thought Blind might be gone as he is not Jose's typical player. But he is playing really well and I don't think he will be sold this season.

I wanted Smalling Bailly partnership but many ManUtd fans want Bailly Blind pair. He looked excellent in both games and looks like he will play many games. Duncan Castles, who is very much pro Jose and get most of the news spot on said Blind and Mata will stay this season and Jose was convinced by their performance.

IMO he would be very good CB in serie A. His reading of game is excellent and he is one step ahead of most. Very intelligent player.

If Blind signs for Inter it wouldn't be as a cover for any position. He will be first choice player.

Also if any team wanted him they should have tried early in the window imo. Now I don't think he is available.

Mangala is a brainless CB though. Makes tons of mistakes, though has great physicality. Not sure this is the kind of defender we need. If they cost the same, I would much rather prefer Maksimovic.

Maybe we should check how Nastasic is getting along in Bundesliga. Always rated him.

Wouldn't mind Blind. Very versatile, and good with the ball. He could solve both our issues at DM as well as provide cover to the CBs.

Maksimovic is moving to Napoli. Nastasic would definitely not come cheap. Blind has started both games for Mourinho so I doubt he'll arrive. It probably will be someone from the Dutch League.

That fucker almost ruined Darmian by playing him out of position almost every time. I hope some Serie A club buys him and plays him at RB, even better if its Inter (though unlikely). Mourinho clearly prefers Valencia.

Almost impossible, there's no way we can get rid in this transfer window of a player who hasn't passed the medicals twice. We just have to give him time to heal (if that's even possible) and then we can talk about selling him
