After Inter rejected his salary demands, Tonny Vilhena could however join serie A. Fiorentina are in fact interested in the Dutch midfielder, just free from his contract with Feyenoord. Paulo Sousa estimates him and last January tried to get Vilhena, according to La Nazione.

Inter keeps on following the Paraguayan international, currently proving himself in this years Coppa America. The 22 year old, playing for Lanus in the argentinian league is considered ready for Serie A but doesn’t have an EU passport. Since Inter has signed Caner Erkin and is currently pursuing Yaya Touré this is a problem. His attorney says they will try to obtain a Spanish passport, but if that would fail an alternative solution could be to place him on loan in either Bologna, Sampdoria, Chievo or Crotone. In that way he would get the chance to develop in Serie A without any pressure.

The left-footed Almiron with the nickname El Chino is described as a “small Banega”. Lanus asking price is 5 million euro but Inter doesn’t seem to want to pay anymore than 3.

A young South American, playing in some bullshit team? Sounds like another Alvarez or another Botta or another Laxalt. I say go for it.

I haven't seen him play. The kid I do want for inter is Jesus Corona from Mexico. Had one of the best individual effort goals I have ever seen against Venezuela. He plays for Porto so I'm sure is release clause is €100 million or something crazy.

Italian Overhaul!!!

Use Academy, steal from opposition, promote players from Serie B, scout in lower divisions.

You know all South American teams suck right? The best 11 in South America would probably be slightly better then Sampdoria or a Torino. People seem to think its 5-6 years ago when Boca/River meant something. After Falcao left River that league just went down the shitter. If you are 22 and still in South America you prob aren't that good

Yes, they do suck, though I don't think a combined Best XI of South America would be a midtable club in Italy. Several players that are still around here are far better than some other South Americans that happen to play in European clubs, who also buy some stinking turds every now and then. I mean, Armero played for Milan recently and found himself benched when he came back to Brazil, surely there were at least some players better than him still playing in their home countries. My point is, let's try not to judge a player's ability solely on the fact that he plays in Argentina or in Spain.

Inter and Sampdoria could make a partnership to bring Almiron

Inter didn’t give up on Lanus’ Miguel Almiron. The Nerazzurri are reportedly trying to bring the young Paraguayan midfielder in partnership with Sampdoria, beacuse of his extra UE status. Waiting for he to get the Spanish passport, he could join temporarily to Samp. Lanus ask for euro 6 million, Inter offer 3. But it’s expected both club could reach an agreement, Il Secolo XIX report.
