I was extremely skeptical towards Russia and the idea of holding there the 2017 Confederations Cup and the 2018 World Championship. I've heard a lot of bad things about Russia and I had a lot fears before coming here. And all of my fears just disappeared when I saw the great stadium in Saint-Petersburg – a football dreamland! The stadium is really huge and no queues for the fans and as far as I know all stadiums of the 2017 Cup are always full. Well, inside the stadium everything is new and up-to-date. There are all the necessary signs and markings for you not to be lost. Numerous volunteers and stewards are always ready to help you too. They all speak rather fluent English! The stadium's got many sectors, each having spacious and well equipped toilet rooms. I also liked a very well thought-out security system: human flows at the stadium are directed through two levels and separated in sectors so that people from different flows wouldn't meet in any possible emergency. Visibility is brilliant everywhere. I had been a bit nervous, for my seat at the fifth floor seemed rather uncomfortable to me at first. But then I calmed down, for I could see absolutely everything. Pull-down seats were solid enough and very comfortable too. A retractable roof makes you safe in case of rain. For the fans without obligatory FAN ID (left it behind or just not yet in possession of it) there's one more special center near the stadium to get it and there are also special offices for your large size luggage. I should say it's very convenient. I think FIFA made the best decision by giving Russia a right to host both events.
