So did Alexis Sanchez die? Why are we linked to old strikers that won’t help us and will want crazy wages?

LLORENTE or Giroud can come. They get 500k per goal and 50k a week. 50k if they per game played bonus as well

Also we better not replace Lautaro for a fking zombie striker!

Lautaro and Lukaku are our starters so getting an expensive striker is not an option. We have Sanchez as a first option in forwards coming back soon. What we are missing is a replacement for Lukaku, big striker who Conte can use to give Lukaku some rest.

I don't understand what you are talking about replacing Lautaro. He's not going anywhere.

Some of you Are like cool give him a 3+ million contract we aren’t in the epl or real to give our 4th string striker 3 mil a year.

We bring one of those guys and then Lautaro going to be like I want 5 mil a season and you will all turn on him like you did Icardi

Take it easy man. The suggested Politano-Llorente swap is a loan swap. Obviously we would not swap Politano for Llorente in a direct transfer. So it would be just 6 months thing. Nothing to do with Lautaro's contract.

So Orsolini from Bologna. Could we get this guy as a back up striker (or should he be a wingback?)

Isn't Orsolini a winger? At least that was my impression. Anyway, Juventus have kept a buyback option for him so they would probably block any potential move for him.

He is a winger, but something about him it makes me believe he could be a SS. Just like Mertens.

He can join the collection of players we plan to shoe horn into other positions according to JJM

I think he's very much a winger and can not play as a striker or wing back.

Not that my opinion is worth anything but I've always immensely disliked him whenever I've seen Bologna.

Basically, he seems to have some poor awareness and abysmal decision-making skills. He very frequently and needlessly over-complicates things. He often ignores teammates in much better positions and tries to dribble by himself and shoot. Occasionally it works and he scores a great goal, but the other 95% of the time it doesn't, and this makes him a very inefficient player. Not ineffective, especially for a side like Bologna, but horrendously inefficient and infuriating to watch.

Many wingers are frustrating to watch and it's partly the nature of the role. But Orsolini is another Verdi or Cerci IMO - he doesn't have the class or the footballing intelligence to be anything more than a small-club player. Personally I don't want him anywhere near the club.

TBH I don't want a single Bologna player at all, but if I was forced to take one, it would be Santander. He'd be a cheap option for the Giroud/Llorente backup target-man role.

Giroud is a smart player, for what we're trying to achieve, he'll do a wonderful job as a sub. Of course it all depends on the price.

Giroud is still being considered, could arrive in January.

Dries Mertens has knocked back the advances of German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

The Napoli attacker has drawn links to a host of clubs lately, including Inter, due to the fact his contract with the Stadio San Paolo is due to expire at the end of the current season. Dortmund did not wish to wait until the Summer and enquired about a permanent move in January but the 32-year-old Belgian simply told them he had no interest. Napoli are understood to have tabled him a two year contract extension with a €4 million annual salary but the player is understood to remain sceptical about the idea of extending his deal therefore the former PSV Eindhoven man’s future is right up in the air at the moment.

DARi0 said:
Napoli have reportedly offered Mertens a two-year deal at €3m a season, a proposal he doesn’t find acceptable. La Gazzetta dello Sport claim the main sticking point is the signing-on bonus. Mertens would like a three-year deal at €4m a campaign in wages, something the club is refusing to contemplate. Il Mattino state if the striker doesn’t revise his standing, he can leave in the January transfer window. The striker has a €10m release clause, but it is only eligible for overseas clubs

* I think Mertens is coming to INTER on a free transfer ;)

According to Calciomercato, Everton of Ancelotti are very interested in Mertens, as the English club is willing to put on the table €10M which is the release clause (expires on January 10th and only valid for foreign clubs).

Inter are also pressing for his signature. They hope to use the influence of Lukaku, who is a close friend of Mertens, and also a rich two-year contract to push the Napoli striker closer to the city of Milan.

He would be a perfect replacement for Sanchez.

We haven’t had great luck with over 30 players on this team. Giving him anything better than a 4 million 2 year contract is insane!!

Also where would he play? We switching formation?

I saw a super awesome 70 inch tv on sale yesterday at the store. We have 4 TVs in my house.... where would I fit the new one? Up my ass?

If two of them are those black and white shit you should change them for Full HD at least, doesn’t have to be 4K. You’ll enjoy more in nice colors and good sound.

If we’re thinking about our strikers like TVs I would say that Lautaro & Lukaku are nice 4K TV’s, Sanchez is Full HD but something is defective in his wiring so he spends too much electricity and has to be repaired a lot, Politano is old, one dimensional black-white thing while Esposito is nice, small screen TV for kids room.

So, if you and your family want to enjoy go back in that store and don’t be cheap motherfucker.
