According to Sky, Andrei Radu will be Inter backup GK for next season as Udinese 25m demands for Musso were deemed too high. Daniele Padelli will stay at the club as the third GK.

Radu has talent and at least some experience in Serie A. For the backup position he more than enough. I will be way more relaxed than this season, if something happens to Handa. So it is a good idea to save some money here and focus on other positions :thumbsup:

Radu is the perfect choice. Nowadays clubs have quality second goalkeeper to rotate and provide competition. We should stop using the Carrizos and the Padellis as second choice.

The plan is to rotate between Handa and Radu. I’m too lazy to find which big clubs use this startegy but I remember few years ago Barca were rotating much between Bravo and ter Stegen, Szczesny and Buffon.. Also PSG goalkeepers. Thus, he will play more and surely develop, and by then it will be clear if he is good enough to be first choice after Handa, or stay as second choice, or sell him out.

Dont forget Radu already had an excellent full season at Genoa, he wont be coming to play only Coppa games.

Radu will be happy to be the second option at Inter. He was the worst goalkeeper in the league while he was at Genoa this season. He couldnt even get the #1 spot from Sepe in Parma in the second half of the season, so good luck if he thinks he'll share minutes with Handa. He'll play coppa and thats pretty much it if theres no injuries.

Meh, it's probably because they conceded too many shots.

Imo the top 3 GKs in Serie A were Handanovic, Musso and Silvestri. Wouldn't even consider the Brescia dude in the top 10 really.

If we want to replace Handanovic, it better we a world class GK or someone who has shown potential to become world class. If you want to check whether a particular GK is good enough for Inter, just think if his name is worthy to replace XXX below:

Or Donna.. i want to see how mad Bbilan see him in our side, and if BBilan still fail in CL next year, there's no reason he stay.. i believe when he sign renewal he will put that CL as clausul.
