Yes, we are not yet at that level. We need bigger revenue to be in a level where we van acquire top top midfielder. Though we already used 65m€+ for a striker and even though they are more expensive, are revenues will be bigger this season than the previous one. So we might not be THAT far.

There is many news about him on swedish football news sites so I don't know what you're talking about. PL fans are known for their bad knowledge of other leagues.

Does small columns about him count as him being known. Not sure what you are talking about tbh.

this is where:

1 - consistent CL revenues that we xan assume on going forwards
2 - bringing in new sponsor/etc revenue will be important
3 - not replacing players every year, as we can let some players nearly fully amortise (e.g. Skriniar, Lukaku, Sensi, etc) which then means we have more cash to play around.

Consistent churn of players, and uncertain revenues, are the fucking devil for transfer spends.

Inter to compete with three clubs for Monchengladbach’s Zakaria

Inter Milan will have to compete with three clubs in order to sign Borussia Monchengladbach’s highly-rated midfielder Denis Zakaria, as per AS cited by Calciomercato.com.

The Milan-based club have been in the market to sign a midfielder and have been linked with the likes of English Premier League outfit Manchester United’s Nemanja Matic and Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic in the recent past.

As per the latest report, the Nerazzurri have identified Monchengladbach’s Zakaria as a player for the future and would like to bring him to the San Siro in the near future.

However, Inter will have to compete with the likes of Atletico Madrid from Spain and United, Tottenham Hotspur from England who are also interested in acquiring the services of the 22-year-old.

The Switzerland international—who is famous for his strength and pace in the midfield—has been with the Die Fohlen from 2017 when he joined them from Young Boys for a reported fee of €10 million.

That's a no from me for Zakaria, Matic or Rakitic.

Also it's probably just a bs report.

Zakaria seems to be quite hot in the market and IMO for a reason. I would be happy to sign him.

As mentioned before, I think signing Matic makes a lot of sense and would be extremely cheap. Rakitic is worrying given no playing time (even considering Valverde's liking of him) and is relatively expensive. So for me, I'm up for 2/3.

Raketic, Vidal, Matic, etc. These are names to stay away from. Haven't we learned anything from signing Sanches or Nainggolan?

Rakitic would be perfect for us. This dude is never injured and plays almost every freaking game. These facts is only a + which we would get but of course his quality is the biggest reason why we should get him :)

He played every time. Past Time. Look at his playing time this season. Last season I would agree, this one is for some reason different. That's why I would hold the excitement.

It's even better. Rakitic playing less means he will be fresh when comes here.

I think he has the most apperances in his team since he arrived at Barcelona.

Couple of things. An article from Sport, which has then done the rounds in Italian media, says that Barca have lowered the Rakitic price from 60m to 35m.

Secondly, I've seen this idea floated around on Twitter a couple of times this morning. Noise around Rakitic has been increasing recently, with Marotta being the main pusher of the deal; however, the caveat is that we can only get Rakitic if we pass through the group stage. Now, who happens to both own Rakitic's contract and has a direct influence over who of us or BVB get through?

Either you didn't read what I wrote, or what you wrote is irrelevant. THIS SEASON.

Your reply to my comment was irrelevant. Start a reply with irrelevant comment and the circle begins.

I'm talking about apperances since he joined Barcelona and you are talking about 2 months into season 19/20. The reason we can get him is because there is more midfielder fighting for his spot. He is still a player that doesn't get injured and plays all the games.

I really like this Kulusevski dude at Parma.
Seriously looks like the real deal.

Kid had a great game against us and have played really well in his first Serie A season with regular game time.
He's on loan from Atalanta to Parma this season.

he is great, but I'm thinking if he fits our formation. I mean he is more a winger than striker/central midfielder/wingback. Maybe behind Lukaku-Lautaro's back?
