You can say this about every transfer that has failed. Trust me the list would be much longer. This argument is meh
No... I said this players will be good for us even before they kicked a ball... But FIF experts who never even saw them play before went all smart and negative, they knew more than me who actually saw them play...
I'm not saying I am some expert because I fucked up some evaluations epically also...Schick, J.Mario...
But ffs... If u didn't even know him before joining us... Then why even comment

And we need 2 midfielders because

Brozo plays all the time, every minute
Vecino is Vecino...
Borja is ancient
Barella is injured now
Sensi and Gags have some serious issues
Hello Agoume... 17 y old

The more I see of Kulusevski the more I like him. Some are concerned because he is a winger, but he has the strength and composure to play centrally and is more likely to improve than plateau.

Get Kulusevski or De Paul or Vidal on 1st of January so we don't have to use Valero as a starter.

Yet I bet you know how old Greenwood is... too much EPL and too little Serie A is not a good mix :yao:

Anybody know what the situation is on Lorenzo Pellegrini’s €30m release clause? Because if we’re talking about dropping that kind of money on De Paul or Kulusevski in January then we may be much better off going for Pellegrini.

He has been in talks with Roma over a new contract but there's nothing official yet. He still has 30m release clause but the player doesn't seem willing to leave Roma so it's basically useless. Anyway, Pellegrini best position is AM so i am not sure he would fit in our system.

Figured that might be the case, thanks. As for his position, Sensi’s position was often closer to the strikers than the defense so I do think Pellegrini could do very well there, better than De Paul would anyway.

Too many Italians. Get an Australian to mix things up, add a little spice. Benvenuto Mooy.

I say make a solid 35-40m bid for De Paul. Apart from the slap, I think he would bring the right set of skills with a good amount of grinta to match Conte's needs.

Kulusevski is too risky and expensive, Vidal is a short-term patch-up.

De Paul should by no means be more than 20-25. Since it's January, 30 at MOST.

Vidal on LOAN but De Paul is the most realistic

No idea who we gonna buy in January
No idea? Come on, it`s pretty obvious we`re going for De Paul.

Get Kulusevski or De Paul or Vidal on 1st of January so we don't have to use Valero as a starter.
Well this seems the plan, doesn`t it? We`ll try for Vidal on LOAN, as he is continuously firing warnings at Barca that he will leave in January/June if not important.

Sky: the Nerazzurri will “100% make a signing in the midfield.” The name? According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Rodrigo De Paul is in pole position as he is the most affordable option next month. Vidal is unlikely and Parma, in addition to Atalanta, have said no to a January departure of Dejan Kulusevski. For the Swede, Inter are the favorite to close the deal in June.

I say make a solid 35-40m bid for De Paul. Apart from the slap, I think he would bring the right set of skills with a good amount of grinta to match Conte's needs.

40ms sounds excessive for De Paul, but I also expect him to join us sooner or later [been linked to him for long], especially if Barca won`t let go of Vidal. Hard-working, knows how to keep the ball, build an attack, pass, shoot, take free kicks and most importantly score goals. Also knows the Italian league, which is a big plus and both Conte and Marotta are looking for this. He would not demand a huge salary either and I don`t think he would demand a guaranteed starting position. Would much rather watch him than Vecino, that`s for sure.

I remember how people were discussing about what his position really is, having played as #10 and on the wing. Now it seems that following De Paul`s statements, even transfermarkt updated his main position: central midfield.

De Paul admits he doesn’t score as many goals as he did last season due to his change in position.

“With [Julio] Velazquez, I played further forward, on the wing to the left in a 4-3-3 and close to the goal. So I was scoring more. Now I’m playing as a mezzala and it’s my favourite role.

“For me, goals and statistics don’t matter, what counts is giving an assist to a team mate. I don’t think the fans are unhappy with me, they know I am giving my all.”

De Paul was also asked about his experiences with the Argentina national team, and playing with Lionel Messi.

“Last summer I played in a two-man midfield with Leandro Paredes and it wouldn’t surprise me if he returned to Serie A, he doesn’t play much at PSG. With the national side I run a lot, than I retrieve the ball and give it to Lionel Messi and he’ll take care of it – I’ve never seen a player like him, and he’s also a nice person.”

De Paul says he’s never talked to Antonio Conte, despite being linked to the Nerazzurri.

“I am flattered to see that a club like Inter are interested in me. I try not to read rumours, but it means I'm doing well.

"I’ve never talked to him [Antonio Conte] before. My idea of him is that he’s a winner, with Juventus and Chelsea. Lautaro [Martinez] speaks very highly of him.”
Mezzala it is! :pazzini:

Maybe I'm wrong but Vidal and de Paul are totally different players? I don't understand why it has to be one or another, only from financial point of view I can understand or am I misreading everything?

Vidal to discuss Inter move?

Arturo Vidal will reportedly sit down with Barcelona to discuss a potential move to Inter, with Beppe Marotta expressing “admiration” for the midfielder.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira, Vidal is ready to leave Barca and Inter are his preferred destination this winter, despite interest from Manchester United.

With that in mind, Schira expects a meeting between his agent Fernando Felicevich and officials of the Catalan club to take place before Christmas.

Nerazzurri director Marotta, meanwhile, confirmed just yesterday that his side were keeping tabs on the Chilean’s situation, calling him an “important” player.

“He is a great player,” he told reporters.

“He’s an important player in world football and someone Antonio Conte and I have built a great friendship with.

“We have great admiration for this player, but many teams would like to sign him.”

“Unfortunately he is a Barcelona player but, with some positive meetings, we might be able to think about it.”

The 32-year-old has started just three games in La Liga this season but could face his prospective new team on December 10 in the Champions League.

I think he is just a distraction from Marotta. There is no way Inter will pay 40m for a player whose performance was great in only half a season. I think his real targets are Chiesa, De Paul and Sofyan Amrabat, the Hellas Verona midfielder.

I’m sure we can lure him with a good contract. He is better and cheaper than all the players we’ve been linked with.
