No? You are making too much assumption, maybe you should just ask if you are confused.

Most here were not understanding what Sensi’s capability is, and what kind of role he will play under Conte. Watching Sensi played at Sassuolo in a completely different role with at least 3 meters deeper is not going to allow people extrapolate his chance creation throughput or attacking movement accurately. Also, SMS would probably only bench Barella, due to the distinct variation in plays Sensi would give vs SMS + Barella.

Most people assumed he was going to be the vice Brozovic, but IMO he would be crucified within the first 30 mins playing there in this club, ala Banega in the regista role under De Boer.

Right now, I don’t believe it’s a personnel problem for our build ups, but a positioning problem of our midfielders and in particularly our wing backs, coupled with weaker foot/side issues of our defenders. I don’t believe the slightest, players like Eriksen, Coutinho would solve our ability to pass the ball from the back.

We probably won’t have too much problem with it until opponents study the way we pass out from the back, only then would we start having issues, because not every team presses that high up at all times.

Strootman would make sense. Left footed, strong physical presence, can score quite a bit when playing box to box, Serie A proven and is on market. Probably not very expensive and not super old.

We could formulate loan with option to buy in this case.

Like people mentioned as an argument for loaning our Nainggolan/Perisic for free, if the opposition club is desperate to see him go, then they would consider loaning him to us for free as we could potentially increase the value of their player.

And we can have a proven backup midfielder.

Win win for both clubs.
