FcIn reports Marotta meet Eriksen's agent in Milano, the Danish star made a 10mil wage demand, on a free transfer in July as he is a free agent if he doesn't renew his contract with Spurs, which he doesn't want apparently. This is the next signing to make a step forward for a new ambitious Inter...

We will definitely aim for Eriksen. The concern is that he's already probably has his heart set for Real Madrid.

Yeah. I'd pay him what he asks, if Marotta can some miraculously sell him our project which might be a bit tough task to do given all other competitors for his signing.

Madrid having a midfield of Modric, Kroos, Casemiro, Isco, James and Eriksen is just unfair.

Marotta rated Eriksen highly since he was still playing at Ajax so we'll certainly make an attempt for him. Whether we can realistically sign him or not it's an entirely different story. For me it sounds too good to be true but you never know.

Modric will probably be gone in the summer so they may be in the market for a midfielder. I just hope they will go for Pogba and they will stay away from Eriksen.

If we get Eriksen, in his prime, Marotta straight to LGI

All in on Eriksen

Every year there are these breakout kids who get sold for obscene prices after literally nothing but a glimpse of promise. All too often, the buying clubs end up eating a dick like we did with Gagliardini. Like Milan did with Conti, Kessie and Piatek.

How does one make the distinction that Kulusevski will follow in the footsteps of Icardi and Dybala, and not Destro and Piatek? That's impossible to distinguish..
I think it`s waaaaaay too early to write off Piątek and Kessié, they are 24 and 22 if passport info is true :D milan did spend ~200m on rubbish but these are actually the least shit of them :notbad:

Many agents are knocking on our door these days. I hope we don't take the bait with some unnecessarily expensive transfer moves (Xhaka, Matic, Giroud etc)
Conte seems not to agree with you, if reports are true.

Report - Marotta is working hard to bring Inter ahead of competition to sign Eriksen next summer. First meeting already took place and it was positive

Inter are ready to push for Christian Eriksen. The jewel of Tottenham, if not renewed, will be a free agent next summer even with the recent appointment of Jose Mourinho which doesn’t seem to be able to change the player’s intention of leaving.

Eriksen recently rejected a contract extension from club chairman Daniel Levy whose idea was to extend him for a couple of seasons with the insertion of €50M release clause. In short, they want to renew the player’s contract and then sell him right away. But again, that proposal was declined by the Danish midfielder and agent Martin Schoots.

Last summer, Atletico and Real Madrid gave it a shot to sign him and will return in 7-8 months. Leonardo is also at work to bring Eriksen to Paris Saint Germain as well as other clubs. But watch out for Inter because after contacts made to explore the possibility of signing him last summer, the Nerazzurri of Suning are ready to accelerate in view of summer 2020.

Everyone at Inter, from Suning to Conte and to Marotta, agrees that Eriksen is the classic player that allows any team in the world to make a qualitative leap by raising the bar of the entire group. The Inter CEO met with the player’s agent recent days in Milan to officially re-establish contacts.

Inter are right there, very serious in this high-stakes race against the biggest and richest clubs in Europe. On the player’s part, the demand is a four-year deal at €10M net per season. The first meeting was positive and Marotta is working to put Inter ahead of competition to strike next summer.

Speaking to Inter Dipendenza, agent Martin Schoots discusses the rumors linking Inter to his client.
“It is difficult for me to go into details, Inter are certainly a great club. Their recruitment of a top manager and directors is a great sign of ambition. Let’s see what happens.” - agent of Eriksen

Modric will probably leave, Suning had €10m/year for him. Let`s go all in on Eriksen if we have this kind of money :datass: Our advantage is playing time we can offer above Real Madrid.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, we were offered Draxler but we consider his salary too high (5.2m net). I always wanted Draxler at Inter but i am not sure he has a position in Conte's 3-5-2.

true, it would have been great with spalletti. now too late...

We will definitely aim for Eriksen. The concern is that he's already probably has his heart set for Real Madrid.

Madrid is stacked (James, Valverde, Isco, Kroos, Ceballos and Odegaard still on loan and possible Pogba in the summer) plus Zidane doesn't seem so keen on him. My only worry is Juventus and PSG if we wait til the summer.

For a player of this quality I'd prefer we push for a Jan move, 20M to Spurs now plus 10M salary.

Getting Eriksen on a free transfer would be easily one of the best transfers of the last 10 years of Inter and maybe of Serie A. Eriksen joining Inter would be f*ckin massive but i'm very doubtfull if we have to fight with other clubs. Interesting to see how this will end. Finally someone who can score from a free kick and maybe we can even score from corners!

We can offer him a leading role which he cannot find anywhere else. Juventus cannot really afford him unless they sell Cristiano somewhere. With capital gains (66m or more). Bayern is another possible destination for him.

He grew up as a Serie A fan which is a plus (his favorite player was Totti apparently) but you just don't say no to Real Madrid. Unless he's also going to follow Totti's footsetps there and become the 2nd player ever to reject Florentino Perez.

Not gonna get my hopes up at all. His agent already mentioned us, but it might be just to get others to put their proposals.
We do have an advantage with the salaries with the new tax law.

I really hope we go for Van De Beek if this attempt for ericksen fails.
IDK I even like VDB better than him.

Eriksen and VDB are totally different players in terms of style. VDB is more a box to box player who needs someone like Eriksen to give him good passes when he penetrates the defence lines with his runs. Sensi could do this for us I think. Getting both would be perfect because they complete eachother. But I would prefer Eriksen because we really needs someone like that right now, someone with the vision and technical abillity to create chances and be dangerous on the set pieces.

What you said is irrelevant. It is known that Eriksen actually waited for Madrid to make an offer, but Zidane didn't want him and pushed for Pogba. Yes, he can join Madrid but it seems his point of view is already known; the single biggest thing that can help our case is actually Zidane getting Pogba...

And yeah, I agree. Getting Eriksen now would be just much safer. We don't have a big sample but it seems Mou actually wants to play Alli as a 10, making Eriksen difficult to fit in that formation.

Can't believe I'm saying this but we actually have a shot at him. Although I do think joining Barca or Bayern is still more likely by a large margin...

Bayern don't even have a coach right now so it won't be easy for them to convince him. I am more worried about Juve or PSG than Bayern.

Not sure but i think VDB plays pretty close to the attackers.

That's just a tactical decision. His role and characteristics are how M23 said.

It depends on the way Ajax plays. VDB used to play behind the strikers but now he is more in a controling position. And maybe box to box player is the wrong term, I meant that Eriksen is more a passer and VDB more a ''runner'' if you look at all his goals and the way he plays.

3/4 of the pitch player the famous trequartista:
Conte knows he needs some creativity since Sensi is made of glass apparently and sadly

Eriksen(mmm delicious, if it happens ) ,Kulusevski(liking him) , VDB(love him) , Aouar, Szoboszlai, Havertz (lol wet dream of mine who we can't realistically get), the next Racing jewel Zaracho (Milito advocated for him as a player who could potentially join Inter after Lautaro from Racing when asked)Thiago Almada(talented Velez youngster, maybe for the future, linked to City heavily in the summer)
Oscar(but it was under Conte that he had to leave to China)

Oh yeah ideas for next summer not now... No idea who we gonna buy in January
