ANSA writing that Marcos Alonso might leave Chelsea for Newcastle.
FcInterNews [IT] quotes spanish papers Onda Cero & AS both linking us to
Achraf Hakimi. The report goes on to explain that despite all Hakimi has done whilst on loan at Borussia Dortmund he has not convinced Zinedine Zidane to offer him the starting spot and Real Madrid want €60 million for him. If nobody meets that asking price he will not be sold. Bayern Munich, Man Utd & BVB are also following. Sport [ES] claim that Man City have also joined the race to sign Hakimi.
I don`t exactly trust these sources, so it might be just creative journalism... Back in May, GdS wrote that we are interested in him, however shortly after Achraf Hakimi’s agent Alejandro Camano has stated that Inter have not made any offer (which was most probaby true back then).
Corriere dello Sport: Inter tried to sign Achraf Hakimi two Summers ago.
The Moroccan full back was pivotal in Borussia Dortmund’s comeback victory against the Nerazzurri as he scored a brace and caused problems all night for Inter’s defence but things could have been completely different. As Inter struggled to agree terms with Atletico Madrid over Sime Vrsaljko, the Nerazzurri management then began scouting around for other options and made an enquiry to Real Madrid for Hakimi, who was just 20-years-old at the time.
Then Inter manager Luciano Spalletti however stressed he wanted a more experienced and ready player to Hakimi, who caught Inter’s attention with his performances in the youth ranks of Real Madrid. In the end, Inter managed to reach a deal with Atletico Madrid over Vrsaljko which allowed Dortmund to swoop in and land Hakimi on a two year loan deal.
As for left wing back, the report from GdS newspaper goes on to explain that Inter are interested in Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri and Barcelona’s Junior Firpo.
* EDIT: FCInterNews.it reported Achraf Hakimi’s agent Alejandro Camano has admitted he has no ideas where rumours linking his client with a potential move to Inter have come from.
“I have no idea where these rumours come from. At Inter I look after the interests of Borja Valero. I was also the representative of Hector Cuper who had almost three beautiful years at the Nerazzurri. I also love Inter but the truth is that I have never talked about Hakimi with them. I don’t know what the Madrid press can write. Today I woke up and read that this or that club are in for the player but I repeat, all of this is not true.”
