Sportmediaset any good? Reported that Inter are considering Smalling for 25 million.

It's Berlusconi tv. The only reliable thing there is the boobs.

Daily Mail tier. One of the worst Italian sources, if not the worst.

Smalling would make sense to a certain extent. Would be a better back up for De Vrij then Ranocchia. Right now that’s probably our biggest drop off in quality from starter to reserve. Minus our goalkeeper of course.

Yeah, makes no sense at all to pay that kind of money for De Vrij backup, specially as Ranocchia has done at least pretty well (most times very well) every time he has played this season.

I wouldn’t mind Smalling as a player swap with someone we don’t want, but I would much rather if inter spent the big money on Milenkovic and/or Kumbulla. Our CB situation is fine, now we just need to refresh every once in a while.

Not really, Rano has been great this season.

More importantly what we actually need is a RCB if Conte stays, D'Ambrosio is our best RCB when he should be the backup.

Smalldini

Never saw 25m being reported, Roma were asked 20m Euro.

not for that price though tbh.

Marotta probably knows that clubs won`t rush to pay for Smalldini, so he is available on a discount and might want to take advantage of Ed Woodward while he is still there (his days are numbered).

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan Skriniar is no longer a key player in the eyes of Antonio Conte but he has no shortage of clubs interested in him in the Premier League.

In case of farewell, the primary target is Chris Smalling: he is owned by Manchester United and recently had a positive experience on loan at Roma. The Red Devils are asking for €20M.

Another defender that Inter are following is Marash Kumbulla: negotiation is ongoing with Hellas Verona which want €30M for the Albanian.
I believe the plan is to sign Kumbulla and he also wants to join. This is probably why he did not accept Lazio proposal ;)

According to Sky, there's a new name on Inter's list for the left wing. Vitalyi Mikolenko, 21-year old left back of Dynamo Kiev. In the last season he had 4 goals and 7 assists. Roma are also interested in him. The priority remains Emerson Palmieri.

Starting to get the feeling we’re going to go cheapest option for LWB.

All Im saying is that Ukrainans are tough mofos. They work their ass off for glory. I'd choose up and coming motivated young Ukrainian before sitting bench duck Emerson Failieri any day of the week.

I actually thought that he was part of a Ukraine's U-20 World Cup winning team but apparently not.

Yeah I guess if we want to use our resources elsewhere and as the resources are indeed limited, I wouldn't go for Emerson. Gosens is even more expensive though he's probably better also despite the Atalanta effect. What happened to all Telles rumors? He isn't going to PSG or Chelsea anymore at all.

How come nobody seems to be going for Tagliafico? Could he play wing back?

I think he could. Although it is a different position. The backs at Ajax play very attacking so going forward shouldn't be a problem and defensively he is very strong and agressive. He is strong with his head, scored quite a few goals already, he was captain of Argentina a couple of games so I think he really gets underestimated. The only rumour there is is that Chelsea will go for him if they can't get Chilwell. He has an Italian passport so he doesn't take a non-EU spot.
