Inter are linked with Maksimovic of Napoli via Pedulla.

The 28-year-old centre-back is only under contract until June 2021 and has not agreed a new deal. He has been on the market for several months and a proposal has now arrived from West Ham.

Negotiations are in progress and Napoli want around €15-20m for the Serbia international. Fulham are also believed to be keeping an eye on Maksimovic after the deal with Sassuolo for Marlon seemingly collapsed.

He seems to be on the list but I hope for cash for Vecino. We are selling Skriniar for the plusvalenza so we can get Conte`s Kante. This means we won`t have money for Milenkovic this summer, let`s not kid ourselves.

Smalldini can be taken on loan so it`s the most probably scenario in case we sell Skriniar.

It's either management need some sale for our financial reports and Conte said from the first eleven players Skriniar and Brozo are least fitting his team so they can go, or Conte just said he needs Kante and Brozo and Skriniar do not fit his tactics. I'm fairly sure the latter part, the first is also very likely I would say.

Skriniar is not good enough on that right side and Kante is much better fit for Conte at the moment than Brozovic. If that is indeed the case I agree with Conte and he is right to push for those moves. It will improve our team even further.

I think we should go for Smalling regardless of what happens with Skriniar, especially if Ranocchia leaves. The price/ terms are reasonable and we need more players who can actually defend. As much as I would hate to see 5 ManU flops on our team that's just how it is.

Wrong with anything related to, explicitly, on-the-pitch (tactics, selections, transfer demands).

In the beginning I did have my own criticisms for coaches, but with time I've lowered my temperament with that because I've come to realize that, to accurately criticize, I should have a lot more insight into our team, trainings and Conte's ideas and his explicit reasons why he does a, b or c. I'm no God and don't know everything (unlike some) and so, often I might miss some logical reason that was not so obvious to me. Basically would love to be his assistant to know all that. Now I'm mostly assessing coaches based on the overall results based on the long period of time, rather than single matches or the attitude the coach presents towards done crucial parts of the season (spals loser mentality vs psv for example).

If I was pushed for something, I'd say I would prefer him not playing Brozo and Eriksen in same eleven, using youngsters more often as subs in comfortably won games and sometimes would like earlier subs in games that we don't look too good.

According to Pedulla, Inter were hoping Maksimovic could become a free agent or worst available at a low cost since he has only one year left in his contract. That's why the rumours about him emerged.
