You would think that people would do the reasonable thing and just do an exchange of loans with no options. It’s not like Ndombele is going to break into this Tottenham team.

Mourinho trusts him more now. Said this in the interview how last season he wasn't sure about the guy's motivation but now he is.

That doesn't mean much IMO. He could be protecting or trying to give a mental boost to the player, or keep up appearances as to not damage his market value. Mou knows how to play that game. Even if he was being 100% sincere about his evaluation of Ndombele, I would question his judgment because his recent teams have been playing absolutely deplorable (and ineffective) football.

yeah...it's a special skill to go full #interballs and announce players as out of our project and thus tank their value. Not everybody can go full #interballs.

So what's your point? That Ndombele is on the market and Spurs is looking to sell him or what?

I love Mou, but he is one of the least sincere coaches when it comes to the press. Never answers a question straight, always a spin.

Stupidest swap ever, especially now that Godin is gone and our midfield is packed, even more with Vidal's coming.

I think this was an idea pre Vidal deal. At that point we probably would have pushed for Kumbulla since we would have some plusvalenza

I agree. The initial plan for the midfield seemed to be Tonali and Ndombele with Kumbulla replacing Skriniar. But we had a change of plans and they decided to go for Vidal and give another chance to Nainggolan. We will sign another midfielder only if Brozovic is sold. Else this is it for our midfield.

Assuming Vidal is coming, we have a surplus of midfielders: Barella, Sensi, Eriksen, Brozovic, Vidal, Nainggolan, Gagliardini, Vecino & Agoume. That makes 9 players for 3 positions.

Vecino has to go, Agoume needs a loan spell and one of Brozovic or Nainggolan probably have to leave.

And we still have J fucking Mario.

Dutch sites rumoured that Mourinho doesn't want Delle Alli and apparently us and PSG are in the running to loan him

I would be shocked if we made a move for Delle Ali. Just not the player we need imo.

Eriksen needs a familiar face on the bench for a companion.

It took godin to leave to get vidal (if we are really getting him), and you think there's a chance in a cold hell that we are going for delle ali? Plus he is not a conte player.

Bunch of year long loans with no obligation to buy. The Inter way cos everyone lowballs us and we bend over and take it like the nice guys we are. Also isn’t Vecino injured until November or something? I doubt anyone wants him. Even when he’s healthy, his appeal is minimal.

Yeah, Delle Alli has no position in our formation and system at all. Maybe second forward when we sell Lautaro? :troll:

Personally I’d be ok not getting anyone else in the middle, keep Brozovic and then go all in on SMS next season if there’s a chance. Assuming Conte stays and Suning is willing to spend again he’s still by far the best midfielder we could get

Can’t we give them Ninja for free if they give us SMS on loan. Next season 40-50 million euro depending on certain things being met. He plays 20 guys and we have to buy him.

Ninja is worth at least 15-20. He would start for them especially with no SMS. Hell if they want Ninja and Vecino full transfer as the loan fee for SMS do it.

Dele Alli? I like it, maybe we can insert Brozo and J Mario:lol: in the deal. I honestly believe Dele Alli can succeed in Conte his system, thrive even.

Would you sacrifice Handa for a MF or defender? I mean We want so many players from Chelsea. At this point who is giving them a GK this late in the game.
