Inter and Everton both have an interest in signing Napoli central midfielder Allan according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Allan and Kalidou Koulibaly are both at the end of the road with Napoli and it seems that all is required is for agreements to be reached with other clubs. Inter and Everton are both keen on signing Brazilian Allan and the report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Napoli value Allan, who has a contract with them until the end of the 2022/23 season, at €40 million.

The idea of a swap deal between Inter and Napoli involving Matias Vecino and Allan has been revived according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago. Back in the most recent January transfer window, the idea of such a swap taking place was born and now the idea is back in vogue. The report does not provide details as to whether it will be a permanent or loan swap or whether there will be a cash adjustment from either side.

As suspected marotta probably doesn't want to rattle the players, especially if it's going to be swap deal with skriniar or some other player that was mentioned. It seems that he is our top priority for midfield, for better or worse...
