Hardly found anything to excite me.
Eurosport shows cycling and 3x3 basketball for like 2 days now.
Greek coverage is actually pretty good, if you ignore the debacle of missing out on the live coverage of our most celebrated Olympian despite showing other stuff from the actual arena at the same time...
Three channels, no cycling or 3x3 bullshit. They're now showing swimming (and tennis, kinda flipping between stuff), weightlifting and Egypt vs Argentina in football.
Not sure how it's broadcasted in Italy. Rai Due has fencing now (Italian dude vs Japanese), but the other Rai channels have nothing. The two French channels I have that show something (France3, France4) have Norway vs South Korea in women's handball and a fencing match up between a French guy and a Russian(?) guy. I agree on the BBC, it's terrible coverage. And they're also showing cycling!
I got the luxury of having a lot of options to watch from but due to the time zone and the fact that WFH is no longer an option for me, I miss out on most things.
I guess we're all waiting for Athletics events.
As a neutral, I'm also waiting for the QFs and on for basketball, volleyball, handball and water polo. Football is meh. This 3x3 basketball thing is cool to pass the time with, but it shouldn't be in the Olympics. I wonder how Futsal didn't make an entry as it's bigger and an actual thing rather than a summer pastime for players.
If I stumble upon some high level field hockey I will probably leave the channel on.
Tennis is also going to be interesting to see if Djokovic can make an attempt for a Golden Slam (that is to win all 4 majors + Gold medal. Steffi Graff did it in 1988, Nole thus far has won 3/3 majors, has the Olympics and the US Open left to win to accomplish this)
