According to Sky, Inter have approached Man Utd for Telles and they're trying to sign him on loan.

Inter have also asked for Alex Telles on loan - but Manchester United are still reclutant.

I think we would sell Perisic in a heartbeat if we got an offer. Probably also Dimarco to be honest.

I don’t even understand why we’re going for Telles. Our left side is set (given the circumstances).

Perisic should still be good for another year, not to mention we won’t be able to offload him with his wages anyway.

Dimarco was also the 3rd best LB in the league last season behind only Gosens and Theo Hernandez. I don’t understand why we seem hell-bent on ignoring him.

The refusal to give Dimarco a shot at the LWB job is the most puzzling development of this Mercato. He is:

1) Free
2) Home grown
3) On low wages
4) A natural fit for the position

And yet every indicator is that we're not even going to let him be the reserve. The only thing I can think of is Perisic is being moved to a ST/SS under Inzaghi.

Maybe di marco just isnt good enough for this level.
He wasnt good enough for conte last season and maybe inzaghi is seeing the same thing in this preseason.

Also i dont really know what to think of telles rumour. Yesterday there was a news man u rejected roma loan offer for telles, probably wanting only to sell him, so it maybe be a bait for roma to bite and improve the initial offer.

I think the rumours about Telles have more to do with Perisic than Dimarco. I can't imagine a scenario where we have both Perisic and Telles for left wing. Too costly. Telles would come to replace Perisic and it makes sense tbh. Perisic was good as a lwb last season but he's 32, on high wages and with one year left in his contract. If we manage to sell him for decent money and we bring Telles on loan to replace him, it's good business.

While i agree we need a midfielder more than a lwb, the issue is we already have too many midfielders. Brozovic, Barella, Hakan, Sensi, Vecino, Vidal, Gagliardini. 7 midfielders. And i haven't even included Eriksen and Agoume who may, or may not, have a role at Inter next season for different reasons. We can't keep adding midfielders. We need to offload at least 2 of them before getting another midfielder.

Dest is the latest name we're being linked to. Would be the closest thing to Hakimi we could get, guy is absolutely useless in a back 4 but was amazing for Barca in a back 3 in the second half of the season. If there's any chance we could get him he'd be much better than any of the other names we've been linked to

He’s creative and a good dribbler but he’s still pretty raw as a player. He’s only 20 and physically still isn’t very strong. He’s the type of player I’d like us to have if we owned and could develop him. Having him on loan means he will make his mistakes here and then go back to Barca a better player, or he won’t play at all and we will start Darmian.
