Florenzi for me is fine, and probably the best we can do given our situation. I watched him couple of times in cl this season and he was decent in most matches and offers some sort of guaranties.

Emerson would be a very poor option for lwb position. He's decent in defence and he has the speed and the stamina to play the whole side but he lacks in the attacking third. His whole career is basically one good season at Roma. Even in that season he had one assist playing as a wingback the whole season. In 3 seasons in EPL he has 0 goals and 2 assists. You need attacking contribution from your wingbacks in 3-5-2. I'd rather keep Dimarco who's more suited for the role.

Emerson could be a decent option if we were looking for a backup lb in a back 4. He isn't good enough to play as a wingback.

Emerson is worth 10M max. He has one year left on his contract and Chealse dont need him. I am pretty sure they'd let him go for 5M. Most reports were saying Inzaghi will try out Dimarco, so I am not worried. 12M would also be a pretty good money if Torino pays up. Dimarco is fine, but he's not that much better, or even if he is better, than Perisic.
