It’s ridiculous that we’re debating these options. Just get Gosens. He’s the best by far out of all of them and he’s not even injury prone as people are saying. This is his only long-term injury since the start of his career. If he’s ready by march then so be it. Why are we talking like Perisic isn’t having an amazing season. It’s next season we should be worrying about.

Lets lock this position down and then focus on a midfielder and a striker for the summer.

Gosens has pros and cons compared to Kostic and Angelino.
  • injury prone

I wouldn't say Gosens is injuryprone just by his injury sustained this season, before that in his 4 full seasons with Atalanta he missed like 7-10 games due to injury.

That said I don't know how serious his current one is, transfermarkt lists it as a hamstring injury so it must be pretty serious for a hamstring injury. So who knows, he might BECOME injuryprone.

Lol at people acting like the wingers are not a position of key importance in our play.

Di Marco cannot be a starter for us in that LM position. He lacks the pace and stamina to be running that flank for 90 mins.
And since when Darmian became an option that we can consider enough to not buy someone else.

Gosens and all the other LMs we seem to being linked right now are all valuable options that we can get now for a favorable price rather then wait summer and compete with everyone. Perisic is most likely leaving so we need that replacement .
I am actually glad for once we are being linked with some solid rumors for this position

Gosens not injury prone, just our fixture this season is ridicuolous. Especially after Euro then incoming Worldcup.

I much rather Inter go for Gosens than Nandez or Caicedo, the other 2 players linked to us this January. At least Gosens has the quality to be useful for a few years.

De Vrij will join EPL next season ? :yao:

Bremer is powerful, looks like Brazilian Van Dijk.

Let's hope that Torino rates Pinamonti, which shall allow us to get a striker and a central midfielder on top of Bremer.

I think this guy will be our #1 target. Scamacca should sound like the first choice, but apart from some PL scrub clubs (Arsenal, Man Utd, Tottenham) there's no other real competition, unless Milan knocks their door and offers them much more (assuming they don't go for Belotti and Giroud & Zlatan won't be around or starters).

Then we have the urgency to fill up the ranks in midfield. We'll have 3 starters and Gagliardini. So we'll need at least 2 guys, one of which will be Frattesi.

It may depend on when we sell De Vrij. If a deal is arranged in June, Bremer will come early. If we don't find a new club for him soon, or if he convinces us to stay somehow, we probably don't get Bremer.

I've grown into him this season, he's the only defender I'd welcome. The second option would be Milenkovic if Skriniar can play in the midde, but he's been rather stagnant at Fiorentina imo.

Gosens will be perfect, although I rather see him as LM/LWB than a defender to discuss him in this thread.

I wonder if Atalanta accepts a loan+ deal, it'd be telling. Either their finances are worse than ours, which cannot be possible, or there's something they don't like in Gosens. They seem to not care about wing backs that much, they can replace them easily.
They don`t like his 3.5M/year salary demand ;) He has been playing his best for Atalanta for way under 1M/year, so it`s time the man gets what he deserves.

Inter have agreed terms with Torino defender Bremer on a summer move to the Nerazzurri, although they have yet to find an agreement with his club.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are the favourites to sign the 24-year-old in June.

Bremer has emerged as one of Inter’s main targets to reinforce their defense during the upcoming transfer window.

The Nerazzurri have already found an agreement with the Brazilian to join in view of next season, although it remains to be seen if they can find an agreement with Torino.

The Granata are hoping to see the price for the defender rise with an auction for his signature, with a number of other major clubs in Italy and abroad also interested in signing him.

However, according to the Corriere, it is the Nerazzurri who lead the way to sign him in the summer.

Precisely.

Bremer is the guy you want if you need a starter in Serie A. Any outsider from Serie A is a no-no. Bremer has now played for Juric, does a tremendous job leading that Torino defensive line. I'm worried exactly about the timing of possible De Vrij sale. If Raiola pulls Raiola, he might try to block the sale completely to allow a free transfer in 2023 (or force an extension). Not TOTALLY out of the question is to run with De Vrij AND Bremer and let De Vrij walk away for free in 2023, but that option would require some financial shenanigans, whatever they would be. Very unlikely.
