FIF Special OnesI like him a lot as an athlete. I’d also be happy with Molina who has developed a lot this season at Udinese. He has better end product IMO.

It's possible rumors were just for the domestic markets in Germany to raise his value in contract negotations. I don't know. I'm not sorry we didn't sign him. He's 28 already, didn't do well at bigger club (BVB).

Best Overall PosterPlus he obviously prioritized a starting role over a move to a bigger club/league. He was linked with Bayern, Inter, Barcelona, Juventus. He even had the option of Aston Villa if he wanted to try a new experience abroad. But in the end he chose the safe option of Freiburg where he started his career.
I was in favor of Ginter but only if he was coming as a backup. If we were only looking for a starter i certainly prefer Bremer and i have no hard feelings about not getting Ginter.

10 years of FIFYeah Ginter as backup would have been just fine but as almost always, free agents want big salary and Ginter as a backup wanted way too much money for that role.

Best Football PosterBest Overall PosterWe were never serious about him. Apart from Bremer, i haven't read serious rumours about any cb recently. Curious who's gonna replace Ranocchia. Perhaps Vanheusden? Or maybe they will offer an extension with a paycut to Ranocchia after the end of the season like they did last year as well. They certainly don't see it as a priority right now.

I feel the fact he went to Freiburg shows he is not Inter quality, let's hope we get Bremer and keep SDV as a back up.
