No matter how Lukaku and Dybala are shit they would be massive improvement over Dzeko and Lautaro.

I

I've read that Lukaku is ready to reduce his salary. If we swap Sanchez and Lautaro for Lukaku and Dybala, the wages will be more or less the same. But Lautaro will bring us 70 mln cash at least.
I dont see Lukaku comeing here for less than 40-50 mil, and Inzaghi needs to play counter football where Lukaku has a lot of space, I dont know, as a fan I would like us to go the other way, but than again that way won us scudetto

There was a rumour of Beto from Udinese to Inter.

Havent really seen him playing to be honest.

What do you guys think?
I only watched Beto twice and he looked interesting. Tall, fast, strong, maybe still too raw but he’d be useful just for his physicality alone. If we can get him on the cheap, it would worth consideration.

There is no way we can afford Lukaku. Why would Chelsea let him leave on a free? Surely Conte will pay more money than we can.

Also, I would pass on Dybala. Much rather go after Raspadori & the future.

Conte would pay more but Levy wouldn't and that's what matters. Levy only cares about resale value and Lukaku has none. No chance he's gonna make a big investment on a 29-year old with massive wages.

Benfica owe us a favour for Mario, if we can call it that. Maybe we could bid young players plus cash for Darwin Nunez? He looks more ready than Scamacca. They an also keep Lazaro for free if they wish to. I would love it if Inter end up with a strike force of Nunez/Dzeko - Martinez/Raspadori for next season.

Levy would if Kane leaves for City for big money. Lets face it, this summer Lukaku would cost a fraction of Kane's fee, they are the same age, and it would keep Conte happy.

I firmly believe he wouldn't. It's not the way Levy operates. I have never seen him spending big on experienced players. Instead he has always invested on young players with resale value. Conte himself mentioned he would love experienced players but the Tottenham board is against it. If Kane is sold, they will probably replace him with a young forward with potential. Lautaro is a lot more likely option for Tottenham than Lukaku.

Pasquale Guarro (calciomercato.com reporter, Inter reporter I guess) tweets that

"Marotta has told the agent of Paulo Dybala that bringing Dybala to #Inter is a “huge desire” of his. He has asked for time and trust, and believes that it will happen."

Well, that’s a pretty decent source for Dybala news. Exciting, even if I still think he’s a luxury we probably can’t afford.

However, if I turn my financial brain off and just think like a damn football fan, the thought of Dybala at Inter is incredible. I know for a fact papa Moratti would have pulled the trigger on a 10 year contract for him

Don Beppe is just playing funny money.

Sell Lautaro for 80m - Buy Big Rom for 50M reduction of wages, maybe less? pickup Dybala for the same contract wages as Lautaro with more years. Also Big Rom to reduce his wages too!

with the 30M leftover buy Fratessi, Bremer

Buying a soon to be 30 years old and probably overweight Lukaku for 50m is fucking terrible business! We should not go anywhere close to him unless it's a dry loan on much lower salary. But I won't even go there. I want the Lukaku-Inter chapter to be over. Let's find someone younger with more hunger, lesser ego and lesser salary.

If Lautaro is sold for 70m we should spend what's left of that wisely, as we need improvements on several positions. We can't waste 50m on one player who come from an awful season himself.

Since the Dybala thread is still closed (will probably stay closed until the deal is official :awyeah:) I`ll share my views here:

Dybala is still just 28 years old, about to enter his prime. He can help unlock Serie A defences to ensure we keep winning.

I`m sure he will be extra motivated next season to prove his doubters wrong, especially if he will be playing in the same league against juBentus

Current market value: €40.00m
Highest market value: €110.00m (2018)

Adding such an asset to the club will further increase the overall value of the club, which Suning will be fond of.

I see a medium risk high reward type of deal here. Dybala is proven in Serie A and in the proper system he can shine. If we can get Sanchez off the books, seems like a major upgrade on the long run.

Remember that saying "form is temporary, class is permanent"? I totally trust Marotta.

I really worry about a Dybala transfer to Inter.

My concern is that we will get stuck with an injury prone player on high wages and a long contract.

I guess the question we need to ask ourselves is whether Inter going in for him is worth the risk in terms of his potential output and contribution.

We need to prioritise a frontman in the mould of Lukaku or Dzeko. At the moment, our transfer priorities should be finding a midfielder that can rotate with Brozovic as well as a creative midfielder that offers something different to our destroyers, namely, creativity.

Inter's possible acquisition of Dybala feels like an absolute luxury when there are presently other positions that need to be addressed as a matter or priority and urgency. There is also the question of how Inzaghi will look to utilise him in our formation which remains to be seen.

And who is currently better than Lukaku in our current squad? Even better who is better than any player we're currently linked with? Scammacca, Thuram?

If the money is right, surely we trust a player to be professional and get himself in a position to succeed. He was happy at Inter, and did brillantly for us. And I think he would fit into Simone's system. Dry loan or not, but if we can bring in on the cheap he would be a major step up to what we currently have.
