How are you guys so sure about Depay? Isn't he heavily linked with Barcelona and don't you think he rather play with Messi than Lukaku?

For me the best case scenario would be selling Lautaro for 80-90m and sign Depay on a free. You would find the necessary profit from sales without losing much in overall quality. But it's easier said than done. It would make more sense to sell Lukaku as he is older, earns much more and he would probably bring to the club more money than Lautaro but you would also have to spend serious money for his replacement. I can't see a Depay-Lautaro attacking duo working.
Why not? Immobile+Correa working in Sima's Lazio...

Nico Schira says again that we are interested in Raspadori. https://twitter.com/NicoSchira/status/1399515654135373824?s=20

Still not overly trusting of Schira, but hey.

Its not a bad idea. Raspadori is a crazy Inter fan, so you know he will give that extra effort for this shirt every time he is on the pitch. Also now that he is in the Italy squad, his value might shoot up. Even if he didn't score, he put in a good shift against Portugal in Euro U21.

But Raspadori is only good enough as the 4th striker for us. We cannot replace Lautaro or Lukaku with him.

I got feeling Raspadori will explode next season.

I don't want him go to Inter right now, better stay at Sassuolo 1 or 2 season.

For Lautaro replacement, Let's go buy Vlahovic. Mini Haaland.

If Sassuolo value Scamacca at 40m i am curious about their valuation for Raspadori who just made it to Italy NT Euro squad.

Sassuolo is a Milan version of management. They valued Berardi at 45m or so 7 years ago, tie him with a lengthy contract and destroy his career. It doesn't change a bit.

Scamacca  40m for a player at Kalinic-level at his best. His decision-making makes Candreva a genius. Don't forget they fooled us once with 20m for whom, if fortunate enough, could start 5 matches a year. Just correct me if I am wrong, there has been no Sassuolo player leaving there and worth more than what he was bought?

I like Raspadori but we should not buy him now. It basically means we are overpaying.

Tbh i blame the players more than the clubs. When they keep signing contract extensions they give all the leverage to the clubs. Just look at Berardi, De Paul and SMS. They're all tied with their clubs till 2024, when they're going to be 30, 30 and 29 years old respectively. They chose to spend the best years of their careers in mediocrity in exchange for an immediate paycheck. Fair play to them if that's what they want but no one should wonder why their current clubs have ridiculous demands whenever a top club comes calling.

Yeah, these guys don't have real ambitions to be true champions, winners. Berardi is a prime example of that and SMS might become another one soon. If he's not gonna force his way out of Lazio, he's stuck there. Then he maybe moves in 2024 as free agent, after having fought with Lotito for an year and Lotito maybe somewhat suspending him for that last season (a la Milik style as ADL did in Napoli).

When you are content with that level, that's on you. Clubs do what's best for their own interests. Players should do that too. That's why there are raiolas and such in the game if these players don't have good agents to look after their careers. There was rumor De Paul would have changed to Raiola but apparently those are false claims.

Problem with leaving Raspadori at Sassuolo is that if he explodes, he's suddenly worth 50m rather than the 15/20m Sass will ask for now (which IMO is still a ridiculous amount).

Commisso will definitely ask for roundabout 50m right now for Vlahovic.

I honestly prefer that to players who push to move to "top" clubs and show zero loyalty to their own clubs.

What is anyone's own club?

Berardi can be yes attributed to Sassuolo player. But no one's saying he should have even moved. He clearly didn't want to move, showing just the mentality that he's fine at Sassuolo level, big fish, small pond type of arrangement. Nothing wrong with that either.

But let's say SMS, what is his own club? It's not like Lazio raised him from the kid. Or De Paul and Udinese. Why these players should show some extra loyalty to these clubs?

And like said, it's all fine if these players want to stay at that level.

Why not?

Why should we expect guys like Skriniar or Hakimi to show loyalty?

Should we?

I don't think we should expect.

Yet the fanbase does. Calls everyone who wants out ungrateful, and even does so for those who didn't want out in the first place but were shipped nonetheless.

Celtic's 23-year-old French striker Odsonne Edouard, whose contract expires in 2022. The player has also attracted interest from AC Milan and Leicester. Inter, for their part, could sign the Frenchman if Sanchez or Lautaro leave.
